    Super tough watch
My son got me this watch over two years ago and I've had zero issues with it. I've banged the heck out of this thing too! Ever since 2001 I've had nothing but Casio watches ( either G-shock or Pathfinder ) and they never let me down. The negative display is not too difficult to read at all. Even in the dim light of a photo studio.
ProsLight weight, tough, solar, multi-band, SUPER COMFORTABLE.

    Good watch
Watch is great for my work. Watch is all black with grey lettering and the reverse face. Although considered a large watch, it is very light in weight.

How can you go wrong, it's a g-shock
Chose this over a Suunto because I need the durability and reliability that I've grown accustomed to with g-shock watches. Love them.
    ProsDurable, divable, reliable.

I got this watch Jan 2013. Great watch while it lasted. I didn't have any issues with battery due to the endless supply of light in AZ but about a month in the buttons stopped working. I thought it was a key lock until I looked it up online. Apparently it's a common issue where the buttons will get stuck and will not work. Wouldn't reocomend until they fix this issue.

    Casio G Shock Solar
Overall this watch is nice. It has more features than I use, or need but is still easy to navigate. That being said, the battery life in this watch is terrible. I bought the watch and had no issues for about one month. After that I saw the battery life had moved from full to mid. A few days later it was completely dead. I read the instruction manual about charging it and keeping it in the sunlight. I have never been able to get a full charge out of it even after leaving it in the sun for several days. The watch sits in my window seal in direct sunlight on my days off as well as weekdays in hope to get enough of a charge to use it for the night shift.
