Unfortunately Blackhawk closed out the close out deal and I wasn't able to buy there $24.99 special. I knew that would be to good to be true. Oh well, lesson learned.

    Really like these boots, But
Really like these boots, But the way the tongue is joined at the insides of the boots it digs in and causes a Lot! of pain and wear my skin away above my ankles in those areas that the tongue is sewn into the mid inside of the boots. Make breaking them in Very difficult.
ProsOnce broken in they are comfortable. i like the ruggedness and light weight. Also water proof and breathable.
Cons Tongue could be redesigned for more comfort in the break in. Sewn areas of tongue to mid inside of boot wear and dig into my feet above ankles.

What is a composite toe boot? Dose that mean steel toe?
    1 Answers
the composite toe means the safety toe is made from non metallic material to keep the boots metal free and allowing the boots to walk through metal detectors freely with out setting them off. The composite toe still provides as much protection as a steel toe.
