Really like the bag, but had to replace buckles immediately
Overall I really like the bag but the buckle failed on me. I could have contacted Blackhawk! or LApolicegear, but I like the bag so much that I'm going to replace the buckles for better ones that I can rely on. Its a shame that such a nice bag has such crappy generic plastic buckles.
ProsDouble stitching. Proper X stitching. Fits my Tavor SAB-15 with meprolight perfectly. Doesn't print. Hast plenty of space for molle pouches on the inside.
ConsBuckle broke on me out of the box.

Best bang for your Buck...but
I don't think there is another bag out there for this price that is this good. the bag is great for its one intended purpose of carrying a broken down AR, AR pistol or AK. I use it for an 9mm AR-Pistol that uses the 32rd colt mags and a Bushnell TRS-25 that is co-witnessed. Width wise, the gun fits with an inserted 32rd mag and still has about an inch to spare on the optic side and the mag side. plenty of room. the divider lets me attach 2 mag pouches to carry 6 extra mags if I want to, and there is room for more. another thing to not is all these bags are bigger than you think. make sure you actually measure out the dimensions so you get a good idea of how big it is. the bag defiantly looks different that a normal bag and I have had people ask me what is in it before. My one Gripe about the bag is that there is only 1 pocket on this entire bag..... the big one that holds to gun, and that's it. if you want to count the 2 elastic pouches on the sides for water bottles you can but they don't close like a real pocket so I don't use them much. This bag really would be perfect if it had some internal pouches in the big gun compartment.
Prosgreat price very well built (strong) nice stiff carry handle on top straps distribute weight well (comfortable) back pack straps can actually be unclipped at the bottom. 3 clips on the outside are good for storing jackets/clothes under.
Consno extra pockets at all zippers could be a little bigger (YKK) but they are still good quality. back straps could be placed a little lower on the top of the bag so it would make the bag carry a little higher on your back.

I see the length is 29" but what is the width of this bag at about the mid point? my AR pistol is 12" tall with the mag inserted.
Well I carry my SBR in the pack. I keep the weapon in condition 3 (mag inserted, weapon in safe and no round in chamber, so there is enough width to carry your pistol with a mag in it. If you have a sight system on top (eotech, etc..) then there is still enough width, but barely. If you still need a dimension let me know. I Do not have the pack with me right now.

This bag should fit your AR Pistol perfectly fine. I usually use it for my AR Rifle broken down into upper and lower receiver. There's a backside that has a divider and you can set up mag pouches with all your mags there. Hopefully that helps.

will this pack compliment a keltec ksg shotgun? length from tip to stock. i know the description stated an overall length of 29 inches external. however, i am not sure if this applies to the interior of the bag. csm b 5th GRP
This would fit a weapon that is up to 29 inches in length total so your weapon may not be able to fit depending on what the over all total length is.
