    Blackhawk Epoch
It is the perfect holster for my Glock 17 and attached Streamlight TLR-1s. No issues in drawing or replacing my weapon. I had to get used to the lock release, as it is on the inside of the holster, instead the outside, where I was used to having it on my previous Blackhawk holster.
ProsI would recommend this holster to anyone that has a light attached to their weapon.

    What I expected
The body of the locking mechanism grabs the slide a little more than I want when trying to drae and reholster, and loosening the retention does nothing, as it doesn't loosen the part that grabs. The holster also sits lower than my previous duty holster, so the grabbing has a tendency to pull the holster up with the gun. Gun fits nicely and fits my light. Locking mechanisms all work well. Overall, besides what I mentioned, I'm satisfied.
ProsLightweight, solid locking mechanism, low ride, fits well on belt, fits gun and light well, basketweave look is great and matches my duty belt, price compared to leather
ConsGrabs the slide of the gun when unholstering, pulling the holster up.

Fits the Crimson trace Light Guard!
Solid holster. A little bulky like most blackhawk duty holsters. Not advertised, but will fit full frame Glocks equipped with the crimson trace light guard! Just leave out the light adapter plates. Made well, may require a little dry practice to get used to the release.
ProsFits well, and made well. Solid level three holster.
ConsBulky like all Blackhawk duty holsters.

    Love at first light
Pun intended. I've been using this holster for over a year now. I love it. This holster is solid, but it's heavier for it. Read lots of complaints about the size, but it's a light bearing triple retention holster: They're all bulky. I love the option to use popular light brands over the not so good xiphos light for blackhawk holsters, which I've always preferred. Fast draw and good retention that was easy to learn when coming from a lvl3 serpa. My only complaint was the passive retention screw took a lot more tightening than i prefer to stop the weapon and light from wobbling with a surefire x300u. I thought it would strip the screw, but it did stop.
ProsSturdy, secure, easy to master, good light options.
ConsSturdy=Heavy limited handgun compatibility tension screw needed a lot of tightening

    Awesome!
Having been issued a Safariland holster originally by my department all I had was a measly level 2ish retention. With no option for a weapon light. I've always been a BLackhawk fan so I purchased this holster and fell in love with it. I can draw so much easier and smoother than previously and feel so much safer with this holster. Absolute must for any duty rig.
ProsRetention the ability to have a light
    ConsSlightly bulkier than other holsters

    awesome
I always liked safari land the best. Now I really like this holster more. The main reason is with a Stream Light HL my Glock 22 does not move/wiggle in the holster like it does in my Safari Land. Another feature I like is its easier to get a strong master grip on your weapon. last but not least , is the price is better.

    Works as well as expected.
This holster took a little getting used to since I went from a safariland to this. After training with it a few times I got used to how it worked. It's very fast. It feels a little bulkier than a safariland though. I think it sits out a little further away from the body. Still a great retention style holster though.

Love the serpa holsters but they don't accommodate my light. This is a decent alternative at a good price point with only a minor learning curve. Holster is a little snug on the pistol so far even without the pinch retention.
    ProsAccommodates streamlight Affordable Secure
ConsSnug to the point of binding Bulky Not serpa

This holster will NOT work without a light attached without you shoving a bunch of stuff in it to fill up the dead space and preventing the weapon from being able to rock backwards in the holster. The holster uses the attached light to help retain the weapon, DO NOT use without a light (It even says so on the holster itself).

When you place your order the specify the type of firearm it will be for and I do believe there is or was a drop down menu with a list of guns to choose from. But I have to say I orderd on for my G21 with a TLR-1 light and it didnt fit right. Even though I spoke to someone at BlackHawk, they told me what to do and claim they tried it and it works fine but mine didnt. I returned it

A quick search found that the Epoch will indeed accomodate a TLR-2 with laser. There is an article in Guns & Ammo witten by a police officer who enjoyed his Glock/TLR-2 combo (http://www.gunsandammo.com/gear-accessories/holsters/review-blackhawk-epoch-holster/). As for me, TLR-1S on a Glock 17 Gen 4 works great! The holster comes with two adaptors to accomodate various light/laser configurations, so you are not tied to one set-up if your preferences change in the future.
