    Sizing is important
The belt is sturdy and can handle the weight of my 1911. I've been impressed so far, but only order one size up. If you wear a 36 pant, get a 38 belt. I gave it 4/5 because after a few days, the belt shows a little wear. I think it will even out over time though.
ProsComfortable and nice enough to wear with a tie
    ConsShows holster wear

Great Belt Unbeatable Price BUT SIZE UP!
This is a high quality belt at an unbeatable price! I've been wearing it everyday since I got it. However they absolutely run small. I sized up one size from normal and I should have went two sizes up. One size up works but barely. Get two sizes up and it will be perfect. Quality is great. Strong belt. No issues at all with it. But the sizing issue is REAL. If I had ordered my size it would not have fit!!! I'm a 34 inch waist.
ProsHigh quality at completely unbeatable price.
ConsSized Small. Get two sizes up.

    Surprisingly well made
For the price of this belt I didn't expect that much but was pleasantly surprised while not my original intent to use as a ccw belt may give it a try.
ProsWell built made out of surprising good leather

    Way toooo small.
The reviews said to order my usual waste size. I did and it was to small. Seems to look ok for a work belt. Sucks because now I have to pay shipping back and forth.

    Real leather!
This belt is thick and stiff and very capable of carrying the weight of a concealed carry handgun. I recommend it for the quality and especially the price!

    4" shorter than 5.11 belt
Yes !!! It does not crush. Fine for gun belt. I wear 34" pans and always buy a 36" belt. This 36" belt is 4" shorter tip to tail than all my other 36" belts. It barely fits.
    ProsHigh quality low price.
    ConsShort.

    Pleasant Surprise
Seems like I am always looking for the correct gun belt... something priced right and stiff enough and wide enough to support a sidearm and to provide the good foundation for comfortable carry. Have a number of "custom" belts from some of the top makers and this belt is outstanding for the price. Of course I don't know how it will wear under normal daily use but at this price, if it holds up a few years, it will be worth it. Bottom line: Buy It!
ProsGreat belt for small price. Kudos to LAPG. Never have seen this type of belt, offered for this price at any big box stores. Made in USA ! Sizing is perfect. Beefy enough to support a 1911 without sagging. Chicago Screws so you can use your own buckle.
ConsWish it was offered in more colors (shades of brown) to match existing leather.

    Great belt
I got the basket weave. It's thicker stiffer and better made than the light weight falco that was ten$ more shipping not included.
ProsHolds up my heavy auto w multiple mag holster very well.
    ConsI didn't order two.

    Female versus Male fit
Well I am not sure what to think about ordering for women on this site! I bought one pair of 5.11 women's tac pants in different types, same size and same regular length. The one pair of Taclite are long enough, but fit weird in the waist and hips, not to mention they are not flattering. The other Stryke pants I ordered have a more feminine fit, but are too short! Now with the belt... since the pants are not at the waist and more towards the hips... I am assuming that I would have to measure somewhere to get this belt to fit correctly? Assuming that these are men's sizing or waist size? Just hate to pay very high shipping costs to Alaska when sizing does not appear to be consistent even with the same manufacturer! Might have to go back to Amazon for Prime! It take longer, but it isn't $30+ just to get something... doesn't make sense and returns are free.
ConsNeed more consistency in sizing for women's products... not just a generic belt with no/little further information.

    Perfect belt
This belt is perfect. Thick, single piece of leather handles the weight of a handgun. It looks great, its high quality, it's cheap, and it's American-made. Ignore the other reviews about sizing up and order the same size as your pants. I wasted 10 bucks on shipping costs when the first belt I ordered was too long.

    Good belt but...
This belt is stiff enough to support a P320 own with no sag or need to always pulling up your pants. This belt does run small, I wear a 36 and ordered a 38, I wish I'd ordered a 40.
    ProsStiff enough for OWB
    ConsRuns small

What is leather and buckle color for this item?

They are all black with chrome buckles. The “Plain” is close to a matte black, “clarino” is a shiny leather, and “basket weave” is a black basket weave design.

Have not experienced any sagging with this belt but then, you do have to cinch it up a little but not any different than other concealed carry specific belt I've owned (Wright Leather, Tucker, The Beltman, Wilson).

The belt is approx 3/16" thick, which is substantial. 1/4" is more like saddle leather. Try a local cobbler.

I recently purchased this belt and am wearing it as I type this. The belt is 1/8" thick and is thicker than all my other casual belts. While not advertised as such, I wouldn't be surprised if the intent of this belt was for concealed carry belt holsters as the belt is pretty stiff, at least right now since it is new.

    1 Answers
From what I can tell it's 100% leather, but boston leather doesn't specify a percentage, instead they call it drum dyed full grain English Bridle leather. Which i'm pretty sure means it's 100% leather.
