    Male coupler on belt
The male coupler requires two actions, the first to depress a "button' to then squeeze the left and right side of the coupler. The plastic coupler is of a light gauge and fails after use. That is why we had to order new fanny packets, aka, disk bags. The rest of the construction is very durable.
ProsOther than the belt coupler, a good quality pack that is well designed for conceal carry of medium and large frame pistols.
ConsSee comments above. We had to find a new male and female parts at a sporting goods store to repair one of the old packs.

    Blackhawk Fanny Pack
This pack is easy to carry and big enough for a Glock 21. I live in the deep south so in the summer you don't have a lot of options to carry duty weapon concealed. I've used this pack for several years now and, it has earned 5 stars. Plenty of room for ID, flashlight, or all the junk you can carry.
    ProsPlenty of room

    Blackhawk fanny pack (size: Large)
This product is very well made. Heavy duty zippers, heavy duty fabric and strap. Pouch is solid. I bought the LARGE size to accommodate a full size hand gun. I returned the pouch yesterday because it was just too damn big for me. Keep in mind I am 6'10" and 285lbs. It is like wearing a reserve parachute on my pelvis. It is square and bulky and just looks out of place and I felt awkward wearing it in public. The size (large) is why I gave it a 3 star rating. Not realistic to wear in my opinion. However, build and construction is 5+ stars.
ProsLarge size has great storage, build quality is very heavy duty and the gun retention attributes are great. The buckle has three buttons to press to remove and you can also secure it to your belt with available back keeper on back of pouch.
ConsLarge size is more than enough for a full size gun. Screams " hey look at me!!" Too damn big.

Blackhawk, what else can you say? Excellent fanny pack with plenty of storage and a security strap to boot. L.A. Police Gear had the best price on the web. Only thing I didn't like is the pack did not come with any directions/recommendations. Other than that, I would buy it again and definitely from L.A. Police Gear!

I plan to carry a Glock 26 and one additional magazine. In the outer front pocket, I want to be able to carry two pairs of glasses. (sunglasses and regular pair prescription glasses each in a case) Based on this, which size pack would you recommend? Thanks!

If the glasses are going to be in their own cases as well then I would go with the large option.

Is this capable of ambidextrous carry?

Yes it is, the modular holster within the pack is velcro'd in, so you can flip it around if you want to change which hand to draw from.

What size would my Sig P238 (380) fit into, small or medium? And how about my Glock 26?
    1 Answers
sizing is all determeined based on the frame of your weapon. for the P238 since that is a small frame weapon would say a size small would fit just fine. since the glock 26 is just a bit bigger we would say a medium might fit that one just a bit better.

Have an LC9 & SR9. Would the small be right for the LC9? How about the SR9; would the medium work for that?
    1 Answers
The size that would be needed is dependent on the frame size of your weapon. if you have a very small compact weapon then a small size would be best. for medium size weapons the medium or for a full size weapon like a Beretta 92FS that would need a large size.
