    Great boot
I have only been wearing these boots for a couple weeks, but I really like them. The BOA system makes taking the boots off easy, and I don't have to un-tie my laces if I need to tighten the boot up during the day. I have worn them in the rain and intentionally walked through standing water, and no leaks. These boots are not insulated, so I will be in need of a pair of winter boots, but I think they will make a great pair of 3 season boots.
ProsQuick to tie and un-tie Comfortable Seem to be waterproof
ConsWould like to see an insulated version

    Good boots..
Worn them now for about 2 weeks...had to break them in for a few days, definitely left my feet a bit raw initially but seem to be ok now. They look and feel like moon boots. They are good looking boots if you can get past how bulky and square they look. BOA system works great, boots come on and off with almost no effort and I like how you can adjust the tightness through the day if you so desire. They button has a rubber grip around it and it can get caught up on bdu pant legs at times, but nothing crazy. One of the boots make a very odd squeaking noise every couple of wears or so. Usually if i re-do the BOA it fixes it. With they made a 6" Blitz as the 8" are really bulky and I'm not sure how well they would do in a chase or run
ProsEasy on/off Water proof Warm Grippy soles
ConsBulky until you hide them with pant legs Getting the perfect tightness can be tricky Only come in 8" Pricey for duty boots

I love these boots for work
These are comfortable right out of the box. I do not have to spend anytime breaking them in or worrying about getting blisters. I love the snowboard boot technology they use for the laces - I never have to worry about them coming untied! The "lace" has a lifetime warranty of the boot life if it fails. They are water resistant with waterproof seal, I have tracked several miles in streams and muddy terrain and have not have to changed my socks. I throw the boots under a hose to get dirt off the boot then follow up with some polish - look like new. Due to the several miles a day of walking, they last about a year for me. This is my third pair; they have not changed so I can order online without having to worry about trying them on.
Prosthe lacing system easy to clean comfortable
Consmy feet stink if I don't wear the right socks

    Don't last
When I first received these boots they were great. They were very comfortable right off the bat. However, they only lasted about 3 months. The back of the boot completely ripped out. then the insides of the boot began tearing. I had to use duct tape on the inside of the boot to stop the fabric from rolling. I tried several different ways to fix the outer part of the boot that ripped, but was unsuccessful. My advise would be to spend the money else where and get a better boot.
ProsComfortable out of the box. Nice lace system.
    ConsMaterial is crap.

    Best boots I've ever owned
These boots have got to be the lightest boots I've ever owned. They are tough, waterproof and they don't hurt my feet after wearing them to work all day! I will definitely be ordering these again! By far my favorite boot I've ever owned.

    Good, sturdy boot overall..
..so far they have been a great pair of working boots. I am in them about 12 hours a day minimum.
ProsThe securing system has taken a little getting used to, but works really well. The boots are comfortable, but feel a bit bulky..like being in snow or ski boots and very warm.
ConsThe boots do feel a bit bulky and they are very warm in the summer. A second pair of boots (doesn't have to be the same kind) might be a good idea, so you can rotate through your work week.

    Poor quality
Had these boots about 6 months when the interior completely wore out. They got so bad I couldn't wear them a full shift due to the irritation they were causing on my Achilles tendon. I contacted Blauer and they requested pictures of the boots. I sent them several pictures showing the interior of the boot. Blauer response was that the pictures weren't clear and they needed the boots sent to them for "inspection". Don't waste your time on these boots.
    ProsCool lace system
ConsPoor quality and horrible customer service (from Blauer)

Fantastic boots... unless the lacing breaks.
Bought these boots a year and a half ago based on positive reviews and interest in the BOA system and have been wearing them as EMS duty boots in a suburban system. They're exceptionally comfortable, fairly well ventilated, light, waterproof, can be tightened to fit well, and have saved me from rolling my ankle once or twice. They're in overall good condition and still waterproof with the only major wear being fraying of the nylon coating on the lace, which is a (freely) replaceable part. The BOA lacing really does make these boots quick to don and doff even when waking up in the dark. Unfortunately, the BOA lacing is also their biggest flaw. The knobs protrude about 2cm from the front of the boot and occasionally snag on objects and release. At about the one-year mark, I caught the knob on one boot on a metal step and, with minimal force, the entire knob came loose. The plastic component that's sewn into the tongue and holds the knob had cracked at the screw hole; it appeared surprisingly thin. I contacted both Blauer and BOA and learned that specific component is in a warranty/service gray area: BOA replaces user-serviceable parts and Blauer only replaces boots under a 6-month warranty for defects and can't service boots. While I was considering my options, the lace on the other boot broke suddenly and I realized that unlike standard laces, it's difficult to temporarily repair it and impossible to get a replacement the same day. I'm now regretfully buying a more conventionally-laced pair of boots.
ProsComfortable, light, simple and quick to put on, wear well.
ConsSingle point of failure. Lace wears out.

    ConsNot steel toe.

    BOA lacing system is perfect
I have owned a pair of these that I wear for patrol duties for 2 years now. I also have the BOA lacing system on my hiking boots that I bought through Cabela's. This system is awesome. Simple, quick, easy, and comfortable. Pull and the boot is completely open to remove. Click it closed and dial it to the perfect snug fit you prefer. They are indeed, waterproof from my experience. Someone on here said they aren't durable enough and I'm not sure what they mean by that. I have worn them in fields, creek bottoms, climbing, in the dirt, snow, and mud, on rocky terrain, gravel roads and highways. I clean them up and wear them to court. I don't know how you find a more versatile, easier to don/doff boot!
ProsEasiest and quickest lacing system I have ever used and I have been in military, law enforcement, and security for over 25 years. Durable sole COMFORTABLE cushioned padding inside. Treads are made for everything and, after 2 years(about 3,500 hours), still have some life left in them.
ConsWell, on lace on my hiking boot became frayed (plastic coating around steel cable) and would not reel very well. BOA sent me a free replacement and it was simple to replace. Lifetime warranty!.

    Great boot
These boots feel awesome. Very light almost like wearing sneakers. But lacking in durability.
ProsVery comfortable, lightweight no boot laces breaking.
ConsThe boots lack durability. They barely lasted Me a year and I have to buy another pair. The material above the heel ripped right off. THIS WOULD HAVE HAD A 5 STAR RATING if it wasn't for this. I wish their was a way to challenge all companies that make boots. Make a boot that is durable enough to last longer than a year.

Most comfortable boots I have ever worn
These boots are extremely comfortable. Feels like I am wearing slippers, yet provide good support. The convenience of the BOA system and the lack of laces to catch on things is a big plus. I have only had them a couple of weeks and it has been dry so I haven't gotten the chance to observe how well they keep out water yet, however, the design and construction leads me to believe that I will not be disappointed. I work for a Sheriff's Office (33 years). Traction has been good on both pavement and in the woods and fields.

    Good Boots
These boots are very comfortable out of the box. True to size. The BOA lacing system is nothing short of awesome! They come off and on quick and effortlessly, 100 times better than side zip boots.
Pros-Light -Comfortable -True to size -Lacing system is the selling point -Good traction in the snow
ConsBecause the boot is new I was unable to find any reviews on the durability of the boot.

While I have not yet worn these boots in very warm or hot weather, on occasion I have noticed that they can get a bit warm on your feet during warmer weather. However, these boots are NOT insulated. So far, this has not been a problem with me. Also, as these boots are waterproof, these boots can cause your feet to sweat a bit more -- especially if you are very active. I think that the waterproofing is what can cause issues in warmer weather, as it seems to increase and then retain sweat. In addition, these boots will take a bit longer to dry out if they do become wet inside. This can be dealt with very easily by either using a boot dryer or rotating these boots in such a manner that you wear them no more often than every other day. With this said, these boots are the best boots that I have ever worn, and I have already bought a spare pair. The support and footing is superior in all aspects, and after walking well over 100 miles, the soles do not show any measurable wear. The BOA Lace system is the BEST!

Are the sizes men's? I usually wear a 9.5 or ten in womens
    1 Answers
These boots would be in mens sizing so on average you would need to drop down about 2 sizes for correct sizing. so for example if you were a 10 in womens then you would need a 8 in mens. please note this sizing is not exact to everyone
