    Get what you paid for.
I guess I was spoiled with the Danner Acadias. These boots seem to be very uncomfortable, very hard to break in and little to no support around the ankle area.
    ProsGreat soles. Aggressive steel toe.
ConsCheap leather, cheap laces, and kinda roomy not really true to size

I'm an IDF soldier and I bought these boots and They're very comftarable to me after many hours on my legs, I have a strong smell on the legs and these boots don't lock up the smell. The only Shortcoming is that I'm engage in tanks, and liquids like water, oil and grease are piercing in.
    Proslooks goods comterable fast covering

    Functional Boot
I work in Corrections and it’s always a challenge to find a good pair of duty boots that fit the bill for a controlled indoor setting that can also have flooding and biohazards. The key to this boot is the light weight and breathable material in combination with the superior Vibram soul. Surprisingly comfortable for the price and the fact Belleville is made in the USA makes sold the boot. I’ve had issues with other brands blowing out the zipper sides, so with the Trop I like the speed laces instead of a zipper. I like to refer to this boot as a hybrid jungle boot, it has all the characteristics of a classic jungle, but the bottom half of the boot is made much better than a jungle boot. SO far I’m happy with the boots and went with the recommended one size smaller for a nice fit.
    ProsPrice and Comfort
ConsNoisy when new, the upper part of the boot sounds like a blue tarp in the wind when you walk in the boots. It will take some time to break in the nylon material on the upper boot.

    Belleville Boots Rule!
Ever since my first pair USMC 550 ST, I have fell in all over again every time I get a new pair of Belleville boots. These steel toes are no different! Comfortable and the ability to lace them up tightly and take them on and off quickly is immaculate! Some people might complain because it is a true "STEEL TOE" and not a lighter composite, if thats your complaint then you probably shouldn't buy these boots instead maybe buy some slippers... My only beef with this particular boot is that originally they had the drain inserts on them. Now I see it has been removed. Which is a bit dissapointing to be honest, but it isnt a deal breaker they are still hotweather boots. I will update this review after 3 months. I don't expect anything negative to arise as I've stated I own several pairs of Belleville Boots and they are top notch! -J CALLIS
ProsComfort Speed Lace Design for fast on and off Ability to tie them as tight or as loose as you see fit. Ability to put a shine on them! STEEL TOE! (could be a con if you are a delicate flower) Affordable and worth the money! Made VERY WELL!
Cons-No drain vents - Might be heavy to some people (delicate flowers)

    Excellent Boot
I work in corrections and these are great boots that are made to last. Very comfortable and durable. This brand lasts many years. I had some hot weather boots almost like these while deployed and they are just as comfortable. They take a shine and look great.

    Great Work Boots!
I'm a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement officer kicking tires on big rigs all day. These are a great pair of boots, light weight but solid and comfortable. The only issue I had with them was that you do need to wear steel toe type socks when you wear them. I will definitely buy more when my pair wears out.
    ProsLight and solid.
ConsSizing is weird. I wear a 13 regular shoe/boot in all other shoes. I wear a 11 1/2 wide in these.

I'm 44 EUR size (10.5 US). But on site of the comoany of this boots, they say you need to take one size less because this boots are little big. Not considered with what writen on other Q&A here. So, what's the US size that I need to take? I'm an IDF soldier.
    1 Answers
The sizing issue is with customers ordering their normal tennis shoe size for boots. Boots, majority of the time, run smaller then normal shoes. If you wear a 10.5US in boots already then we suggest sticking with that. If that is your normal tennis shoe size, then we recommend going down a size.

Anyone using these in the automotive field? I bought a pair for work boots and first day i'm seeing some surface scuffs, but nothing too major, was wondering if anyone else using them in this field has experience with how they hold up?
    1 Answers
I work in metal recycling so my boots take a beating, these have held up better than any I've ever owned. After 9 months there is scuffing and chipping of the leather on the toes, but not to the steel. The soles are as good as brand new. Other steel toed boots I've owned scuff through right down to the steel in a month or two.
