Description
The Nightstick Xtreme Lumens Tactical Long Gun Light Kit provides everything necessary to add a high-power tactical light to any long gun that has a Picatinny or Weaver rail. At the heart of the kit is the Nightstick TAC-460XL Xtreme Lumens metal tactical light rated at 800 lumens. Combined with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector, the beam on the TAC-460XL is distance rated at 205 meters…perfect for long-distance target acquisitions.

With a wide secondary halo of light, the TAC-460XL is equally effective in CQB situations. When paired with the included Remote Pressure Switch, the TAC-460XL becomes the perfect addition to the weapon. With its momentary on/off design, the Remote Pressure Switch assures the operator of complete control over the full power of the light. The light is made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and has a Type III hard anodized finish.

The kit includes the TAC-460XL Xtreme Lumens tactical light, the standard tail switch with momentary or constant-on functionality, the Remote Pressure Switch, the Quad Lock Mount, the self-adhesive Velcro strip, an alcohol pad for surface prep and two CR-123 Lithium Batteries.

    AR/ or Long Gun lighting
Decent for the price, not as strong as Streamlight 700. Also sticks out away from weapon further than I care for
    ProsGood light for the price
ConsMounts with one mount only, and way to far out from the weapon

    Super Bright Light
This light is very bright - brighter than comparable Streamlight, Surefire and Primary Arms lights. It is extremely less expensive than Streamlight and Surefire, and brighter than PA. The remote switch fits perfectly in a Magpul M-Lok system, positioned perfectly. the light comes with a mount of decent quality, but I opted for my own 1" QD mount. Varmint eyes glow brightly from 100 yards, making it easy to make accurate, humane nighttime kills.
ProsSuper Bright. "Right sized" remote switch. Illumination out to 200+ yards (easy to see reflectors). Relatively light weight. Seems very durable. All-inclusive packaging (batteries, mount, switch).
    ConsNone so far.

Nightstick Xtreme Lumens Tactical Long Gun Light Kit
its a good light, very bright. I though I would be able to use it as a long gun far distance light, the light can not be adjusted it's just a really bright light, and it really lights up the night; it is a long light and tales up a lot of space on my M4 but for the price it works
ProsVery bright, the long gun kit is really good, and its durable
ConsCan't adjust the beam, and its to long to be mounted on the hand rail of an M4

    A+
This is a quality flashlight that is extremely bright (800 Lumens!!!) for less that $100. I use the rechargeable version for work on a daily basis.
Pros800 lumens, price, quality, metal vs plastic but still lightweight
