AWC Combat XII Pack
SKU #: AWC-CXII
Originally designed for a Marine Sniper Platoon the Combat XII Pack offers a lightweight, viable solution for short ranged patrol operations. Constructed of 1000D Cordura fabric no compromise was made on strength and durability yet the Combat XII Pack weighs it at only 25.9 ounces! The Combat XII Pack is capable of holding six 5.56 magazines or four of the 7.62x59 SASS Mags. There are two general purpose pouches on the rear of the pack that are "buddy" accessible from either side while the pack is worn. The main compartment is designed to hold several field striped MREs and either two 100 oz hydration bladders or 1 bladder and a 117 Gulf. For lightweight loads (25 lb. and under) The Combat XII features a unique direct to body armor wear system that allows the wearer's arms full range of motion .This system enhances the user's ability to more naturally move through a combat environment. Included for heavier loads, the Combat XII comes with shoulder straps that can be worn normally. Molle has been added to the sides and rear of the pack to allow the user to add or remove pouches based upon the current mission profile.
This system is perfect for short-range, foot mobile R&S style missions where keeping the weight down and mobility high is essential. This pack is also very useful for Point Men or those in leadership positions such as Platoon Commanders, Squad Leaders or Team Leaders that must constantly be moving from position to position throughout the duration of an operation.
There is a saying that goes around in the Marines regarding packs "The more room you have in your pack, the more stuff you can find to put in it." This pack has more than enough room to take what you need and leave behind the nonsense you don't to the POG's.
As always Ares Armor offers a lifetime time guarantee on all of their products.
Note: This pack is intended for use with Ares Armor plate carrier and only comes with 2 straps. If trying to use with a different plate carrier 2 additional straps will need to be purchased.
POP OUT SIDE POUCHES ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PACK!
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Great, Light pack

As soon as i got this pack i started fitting it to my Eagle Industries RRV after a lot of tweaking I got it to sit just right. This pack is awesome for a light pack. After i got it set up to work with my RRV I reset it to work as an ordinary back pack and took it on a hike with my 2L Blackhawk hydration bladder and a few other supplies. I was surprised on even with a full bladder and a first aid kit some short hike food packed it still didn't seem all that full. This bag can fit quite a decent amount for its size. The side webbing is tight so its hard to full weave anything into it. All in all love this bag! *Not a serviceman just a gear addict.
Pros:Small, but fits a lot. compact low profile feel even when it has stuff in it.
Cons:Side webbing very tight.

Sturdy pack, great for light load. The ability to clip into my armor helps keep me mobile. Keep this in my patrol car so I can hook up to my vest in the event of an active shooter situation. The mag keepers in the back of the pack can be used to carry bottles of water if you don't have the need for extra mags. There are two slots for hydration bladders, but I only use 1 because the pack is small and filling it with 2 makes the pack too tight to fit much else in the main compartment. There is webbing on all the outside, so I suggest you add on to it so you can keep and organize other tools and supplies. The side webbing is tight, so doing a full weave is difficult and frustrating. Overall good pack, would recommend, but if you require a lot of space, this isn't the ideal pack.

I am thinking about buying this for my plate carrier but I need to know if it will work on the crye prcision jpc?
Unfortunately no this item does not have the proper connection points to be able to attach to your pack as the clips will not line up correct. it is possible to attach this item though with the additional clips that are included with the bag but you will have to have a strap sewn in on the shoulder part to be able to clip the strap in.

I noticed on the Ares Armor website, the webbing on the pack is in the same camouflage pattern as the pack. Is this also true for these packs?
yes we do show that on our ATACS and multicam color bags the webbing would be the same color and pattern as the bag itself.
