Description
Features:

Ares Armor's Atlas Ruck is made for long range patrols and extended field operations. It is designed to handle the rigors of Maritime or Aerial missions. The pack itself is slightly bigger than the large military mountain ruck. It features 7 external GP pouches, 1 admin pouch, and 2 long pouches usable as hydration carriers or 119 Foxtrot sized radio carriers. There is an internal radio pouch for any sized man packable radio. Connection points are not stitched permanently into the ruck making in-field repairs possible. The Top Flap is easily and silently removed and has hidden shoulder straps turning it into a simple short ranged pack. Extra padding has been added at points where the body normally comes into contact with the frame. This adds comfort and increases combat effectiveness by allowing the operator to keep his mind focused on the mission at hand, not on adjusting his ruck.

The Atlas Ruck Full System comes with: Blackhawk! Alice Frame, Neoprene Padded Shoulder Straps, Neoprene Padded Kidney Pad, Removable 6 Hour Top Flap, and extra replacement buckles.

Ares Armor Atlas Ruck
June 23, 2014
This ruck is the shit. Its about as big as the pack the the marine corps is using now. If your not familiar with that, its very big and fits a whole lot of gear. All the exterior pouches are awesome, they have dividers in them, loops for dummy cord and pouches inside them. velcro holes that are great for camel back hoses. there are buttons and a zipper that go through the top of the ruck for your radio antenna. and best of all its comfortable as hell. waist and shoulder straps are awesome. and there is padding that covers the frame so the metal won't dig into your back. if your on the fence about whether you get this ruck or not i say buy it your not going to find anything else like this anywhere else. especially not sending your alice pack to the tailor shop so they can add all the pouches you want, believe me I've been there too. ill answer any questions you have about it.

Confirming this ruck is 15,000 cubic inches?

Hello! A comment about this ruck's capacity: I have one and it is definitely NOT 15,000 cubic inches. In fact no ruck or back pack is that large (even the largest Kifaru, Kelty, or other military packs are in the 7000 - 7800 range), so someone made a mistake with their calculation for capacity. I estimate the Atlas Ruck is in the 90 - 100 liter range, which is about 5490 - 6100 cubic inches. This is a big, heavy duty, well-made ruck with plenty of useful features. I hope this helps!
