I matched the same size and SKU of these pants with a pair that I have had for a few years. The size of the new pair (XL Long) were several inches larger in the waist than the XL Long pair that I already have, so I sent them back to exchange them for the next size down (L Long). I initially was frustrated with the return process because return shipping was $14.90, which LAPG Customer Service made right by waiving the shipping charge AND applying a discount to my exchanged pair (Thank you LAPG!). When I received the new L Long pair I found that they are several inches SMALLER than my original pair. At some point over the last few years, 5.11 must have changed their sizing. If you want a pair of these pants, I suggest you save yourself the hassle and find a retailer where you can try them on before buying.

Great pair of pants, perfect for warm/cold weather. Quite comfortable. However, my pocket tools managed to punch holes in the mag pockets of the large side pockets. Other than that, I definitely recommend these pants.

An excellent product
I was issued a pair of these in black as part of my Patrol uniform. I absolutely love them. They have an extremely comfortable fit, and the elastic waistband is supremely comfortable. The internal organizers in the thigh pockets are a godsend of stuff like pens and gloves. The rear pockets are large enough to hold a 4x6 RITR notepad. Definitely a must-have item!

Did 5.11 switch tailors?
I bought some of these Twill TDU's about a year ago and they were outstanding. I recently bought a pair again (Large, Short) like I've always gotten and for starters, they were longer. And on top of them being longer, they were very, very baggy. I had to get them tailored, which I've never had to do and they're still really baggy. These were on backorder, so maybe 5.11 got in a rush to put them out and got the wrong sizes. needless to say, I'll never buy the Twill TDU again.
