    good belt
I've been using these belts for 9 or 10 years , just received my 4th from LA Police Gear( great company) . I carry a glock 22 , double mag pouch and a single cuff case for 16 hour shifts as a Deputy Sheriff. I've tried several different brand belts of this style. The 5.11 is by far my favorite. If the dang Velcro would last longer you could wear this belt forever. Great product

The holster is fine but the holster belt does not have Velcro all the way around. I'm a 34" waistline and the belt goes around me 1 1/2 times and there is no Velcro to hold the belt in place. I guess I will cut off the excess and have my wife to see Velcro to hold it in place. Disappointed to the least!
ConsBelt is extremely to long and not any Velcro to hold it in place.

    5.11 BELT
The belt was as described and is stiff enough that it does not "roll over" when cinched as some other belts do.

    Great Belt
The belt was exactly what I was looking for. The belt gives great back support and is very sturdy for the type of work I do in Corrections. The only negative is that I wasn't aware that the buckle was metal and it would allow me to clear the metal detector at the Prison. It a little time consuming and inconvenient to have to take it off ever time but I love the belt so it's worst it.

There is quite a few advantages to this belt. Tough web design, strong buckle and the velcro keeps it locked in placed better than a buckle.

Can this belt be used as inner belt? will it support the load of a full duty belt?

yes it would. it's strong & durable plus you can cinch it tighter if necessary.

Yes it will, however the buckle is a little big in my opinion to utilize as an inner belt.

It can be used as a inner belt, I use mine everyday with no issues unless I have to clear a metal detector that is.

I personally believe the weight and bulk of the Operator belt does not lend itself particularly well to use under a duty belt. The Operator belt will support substantial weight, but not as much or as comfortably as a properly configured duty belt. The Operator belt cinches firmly, is rugged and versatile, has clean lines and provides a stable carry base for a sidearm and various accessories, just don't overdue it. I didn't need a rigger's belt, but wanted something more substantial than a quality instructor belt and definitely something that wasn't going to sag or deform with some weight attached. The Operator's belt fills the bill at a reasonable price. Sizing may run a bit small and remember to account for the extra width and thickness of the belt.

Sure. It will support the load of a duty belt with full gear atop of it. I use it to carry most off-duty gear like gun/holster, mags/holder, phone, flashlight, etc or a tac drop holster. It serves well on its own for essential gear and would do just fine for a pants belt under the duty belt. It is a lot better than the other lighter 5.11 TDU web belts, and although I like those for off-duty, they do not offer the support as this one. The only thing is the buckle is quite large and "may" irritate with the duty belt. Maybe not, just saying...

Yes. I use mine as a 'trouser' belt every day. It provides a solid platform for my Sam Browne. I liked it so much a bought another one!

I have not used mine as an inner belt but I have no doubt that it would support a full duty belt no problem. I love the belt and have worn it everyday since receiving it.

I use this belt as an inner belt, and I think it supports the load of a full duty belt better than your typical leather belt. The only issues using it as an inner belt is that the buckle is rather large, and having the buckle of the duty belt on top of the buckle can be awkward and annoying, but easily fixed by shifting the inner belt to the left or right. Also if you buy the belt too large, the portion of the belt that folds back over and is double thick, can be fairly difficult to get a belt keeper around the duty belt and both layers of the inner belt. Not impossible, just difficult.

While I haven't used the Operator belt as an inner belt, I definitely believe that it will support a full duty belt. It is much stronger than any leather belt available that it not designed to support firearms carry. I wear a 1-1/2" Trainer belt for daily wear as a Detective, carrying a full size Glock 22 with a magazine pouch/handcuff case combo. I have no problems with this belt either. I have worn the Trainer belt as an inner belt with a duty rig for certain assignments where I have to wear a uniform but it is not normal patrol use where I am in and out of the patrol unit. I also wear the Trainer belt off duty carrying a Glock 27 with no problems.

How is this belt on sizing? I usually order one size up, I wear a 36" pant usually.

I have found they are very true to size. I wear mine with Jeans so I don't hang a lot of stuff off it. Perhaps if you go with IWB you may want 1 size up.

I would get a large. I wear a 34 pant and a 36 belt. This belt has a lot of room for adjustability you should be fine with any size between 34 to 38

This belt sizes properly, I also wear a 36 and there is plenty of room for the velcro to fasten itself.

I usually wear a 33" waist size pant. I ordered the medium which is for size 32-34 waist. It was a little large on me but still functional. I would probably have been able to fit in a size small as well. I would order it based on your exact waist measurements, and it has plenty of room in either direction for fine tuning. If you are on the border between sizes I would recoomend ordering the smaller size.

I was ok with ordering to my normal waist size but if you want to the belt loop to cover the entire Velcro patch then you might want to order one size larger.

I wear a 34-36 pants so I purchased the Large (36-38). The belt fits well without a holster because the end of the belt can be tucked into the belt loop even though it is too long. If I wear it with a hip holster the belt is too long so I have to position the holster more towards the back so the end does not hang loose overlapping the holster. I hope this makes sense.

I wear a 32" waist pant. So, thinking that fell into a "medium" range, I ordered a medium sized operator belt. It is actually too short because the Velcro barely connects. I have since ordered another belt but in a large size. It wraps almost too far around but the Velcro does connect.
