Such high quality. Not too small or big.
This backpack is super nice quality. It's not too large, not too small. Perfect for everyday. I've owned a lot of backpacks, never venture into higher priced things, i usually stay in the $30 - $90 range. You really get your money's worth.. Seeing and feeling the quality in person I kick myself for wasting all the money on lower quality crap and not just buying a nice bag in the first place, would've came out ahead and saved money. All the other bags made in China that I've gotten just wear out and the straps are just So cheap. And you can really tell how crappy they are when comparing to this beast. This thing is beefy and ready for serious abuse all day everyday. I like the fact that they have small labels on each special spot on the bag when it's in the wrapper to tell you what it's purpose is for. Nice touch on thier part. Soft Sunglasses section is great too! Finally owning a 5.11 bag really makes me look at buying bags different. I don't think I can go back to anything else.
    ProsHigh quality.

    This is an outstanding pack
This pack hangs well on your back, holds a great deal of equipment/stuff, and is very well made. The Molle webbing found almost everywhere on the outside of the pack makes adding your compatible accessories a snap (well, attaching molle is never a "snap...). I am very happy with my bag and I think you will be too.
ProsCompact. Sits upright when you take it off. Molle webbing everywhere. Very well constructed using quality materials and hardware
Consa little heavy. the materials are very stout

    The Real Deal
I have used this bag daily for the past three months. No malfunctions, tears or other issues. Although the bag seems small, I can never get it full of stuff, The best thing about the bag is I can set it down and it doesn't fall over. It sits upright.
    ProsHolds everything, good construction.
    ConsI haven't found one yet.

    Typical 5.11 quality
Great bag. The front pocket is compartmentalized for organizing small items. Sunglass pocket is a great addition but if you have a large payload in the main compartment the glasses could be damaged by what is inside even if well protected from the outside. I would have like to see some sort of CCW provision only because I have come to expect this from 5.11 gear and is something i like about their products. MOAB series can be attached to this bag but there are no straps provided to do so. (they are included with the MOAB series bags however) Size is kind of small but considering what it was meant for, I can't complain. Great for aircraft travel. Plenty of molle/pals webbing on bag and shoulder straps. If it wasn't on sale I wouldn't have sprung the extra cash for multicam.
    Pros- 5.11 quality and ingenuity
    Cons- Multicam is a $40 upgrade=?

I want to purchase this back pack but I noticed the price online is $139 and it was $99 when I saw it at the store yesterday. Is there anyway I can purchase it online at the $99 price?
    1 Answers
The pictures you have attached is for the "Sandstone" color. The listing you are referring to is for the Multicam color which is more expensive. You like to go with the Sandstone, please follow the link below which will show the $99 http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-rush-12-backpack.html

why does 5.11 not have padded hip straps on this pack?
    1 Answers
They probably just don't include it with the smaller packs. The rush 24 doesn't have it either, but they do have the padded belt with their Rush 72 pack - http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-rush-72-multicam.html They probably just didn't expect for a pack that small to need a hip strap. You would have to contact them directly to find out for sure. Here's their contact information - http://www.511tactical.com/customer-service/contact/

Can this bag fit a 15.6 inch laptop in the main compartment?
    1 Answers
The main compartment is 18" x 11" x 6" so as long as your laptop is within these measurements it should fit just fine.

Is there a designated area for a full size handgun in this pack? Thanks Also, Multicam is 40% more???
    1 Answers
there is not a designated paded pocket for a full size weapon on the pack but there are plenty of places were a full size weapon can be inserted and accessed easily if needed and yes 5.11 does charge more for multicam products.

?can these be attached to a tactical vest

There is only MOLLE on the back of this 5.11 pack, so there is no real way to attach the pack to a tactical vest.
