    Nice covert everyday jacket
Nice looking jacket. Not super warm, good for cool days and light rain. It does leak at the seams (shoulders and across the back) but only during heavy heavy rain.
    ProsCovert look Water beads off
ConsNot water proof. Not super warm

    Excellent Everyday Wear
I ended up buying these for my team. So far (3months later and worn 5 days a week) still holding up strong!! The only two issues were lack of water resistance and the material on the inner collar. If you have stubble or a beard, you will start noticing the material start pilling. Otherwise great jacket for the cost!
ProsGood all weather jacket! Good in 'light' rain, and good layout with pull down ID markers.
    ConsNot fully waterproof

    Nice lightweight jacket
Bought this jacket for a spring/fall to replace a heavier one. Jacket as a size too small as a XL but still fits well just a little more snug that used to. The quality is good and can wear this to the office or out and about in comfort. I may get another in the XXL next time around.
ProsVery easy to wear. quality material
    ConsCheck the size chart

    I love this jacket.
I got it just in time for the rain. Repels water great and is warm enough for SoCal. If you are in a cold climate you might be better off with something heavier.
ProsWater resistant, great fit, light weight
ConsNo opening for gun/holster. Also if you are in colder climates, you are probably still going to be cold.

    5.11 Tactical Chameleon Jacket
Excellent jacket, just warm enough, but not bulky. Took it to Europe, it was colder than expected and this jacket kept me very comfortable that week. I was impressed enough to pick up two other colors in this style!!!!!!!!!
    ProsEverything about it
ConsPrice, but I bought it when there was a sale going on!!!!!!!!!

    Great jacket
This jacket is just right. Light enough yet still blocks the wind and provides enough warmth. Seam seal on the sleeve pocket is pretty cool too.
ProsFlip out patches are great. It goes from a plain black jacket to a "POLICE" coat with the tug of a zipper
ConsI wish it had bigger pockets inside.

    Perfect Jacket
This jacket is perfect for Texas Winters. These jackets hold their shape and form and are easy to care for. The zippers are easy to use one handed and they have big pockets that are easy to access. The length of the jacket is just right. Water and snow bead up and roll off the jacket. My wife and I both have one and we both LOVE them!

    Just right
An excellent jacket. Where I live, heavy coats are rarely needed. A jacket like this works well for a majority of the winter. It looks to be well made and it fits me just right.

    Top Notch 5:11 product. Again!
Love the options in this Chameleon softshell jacket. It has nice lines and fits well. The jacket is light, but with the drop tail it does keep the wind from blowing up your back and does provide some concealment. Normally I fit somewhere between a medium and a large in many products, but the large size in this jacket fits my frame well.

Your web browser shows two shades of green. One is identified as Moss and the other is not. It is also not on the drop down menu, would you clarify ?

I’m sorry for the confusion. If you select the color you want for the Color/Size drop-down menu it will change the picture to the color you select.

can you carry a small handgun (like a Glock26) in one of the interior pockets, specifically for me on my left side ?
    1 Answers
we would say that you should have no problem sticking a small hand gun in one of the pockets at all.

I normally wear an XL in jackets do I need to order the XXL in this jacket? I heard they run small.
    10 Answers
The jackets run pretty true to size. If you are going to wear anything underneath, like a vest or hoodie, you may want to get the next larger size. The jacket is nice, and wears well. All in all, true to size.

Order your normal size. I too normally where an XL and that is what I ordered. I have noticed that 5.11 usually runs true to size.

I normally wear a medium, but purchased the large. It fits me very well and I don't think the medium would have been comfortable.

No, I'm kinda a big in the chest guy, and the XL was right on, and most my other jackets are XL, the brand I have found that I had to go to the next size was the Rothko (sp?).

I am tall and big so I wear a 3XL but it still is a little snug in shoulders. If your a XL and want a little room, then go with the 2XL.

I am 6'2" and weigh 220lbs. I have a 48 inch chest and I wear a size Large. If you like a more fitted look stick with your true size, if you want a little more room in the body, go a size up.

They do run small. I normally wear a 3XL, so I bought that and could barely get it on and could never wear it. I would definately buy the 2XL. LA is really good about returns, so it it's too big, retuen it and get the XL.

I would say it runs true to size. Being 6'5 and 285lbs. I got the xxl and it fits great. Plenty of room through the shoulders and arms which is where I usually run into fitting problems. The jacket has become my favorite to wear.

I normally wear a XXL jacket but in 5.11, I wear one size smaller. Both 5.11 jackets I've purchased run big. I love the jacket and may purchase another.

I wear large 511 TDU shirts at work. I ordered an XL jacket to make sure I had room when I was wearing a vest. It fits great. It's also not to baggy when I am wearing it off duty.

DO YOU PURCHASE THE ID PANELS OR DO THEY COME WITH THE ITEM?
    1 Answers
The pre-made ID panels would need to purchased seperately. The jacket does come with a velcro attached blank panel that can potentially be screen-printed with whatever you would like.
