    Versatile
I've used the 5.11 VTAC Brokos Belt for some time now. It is a very versatile setup. Obviously, the man who designed it (Lamb) knows a thing or two about what works in the real world. The fact that the under belt can be weaved over a section of molle panel is brilliant because it allows items like the holster or other pouches to mount directly to the under belt. Now you can run molle pouches and your fav standard gear to run together. For instance, I have a Blade Tech flashlight holder with a tek loc attachment that I really like. No problem to run it alongside my molle pouches. Perfect! My VTAC Brokos has proven to be very durable. It has seen many training days and even a few wild boar hunts and has held up very well. It was money well spent.
    ProsGreat design, nice price.
    ConsLimited color choices from 5.11.

    Excellent, especially for hot weather
Brokos style belt allows for both Molle & belt attached items. Easily re-configurable, depending on the need. I use mine at the range & for training sessions. Typically has Kydex holster, dump pouch, multi-tool, and flashlight as permanent fixtures. Magazine / shotshell holders come and go as needed. The 5.11 version features strong, but lightweight mesh material and perforated stiffener. This minimizes weight and maximizes airflow for all day comfort on hot days. It also has a slight curve built-in which allows the belt to fit more comfortably than a belt that is straight. Just take a look at a well-worn leather belt to get a visual on the concept.
ProsWell ventilated, solid construction and materials. Fits well.
ConsSeparate accessory can be added to attach to shoulder suspenders.

    NOT VTAC
Hi, This is not a true VTAC Brokos Belt. The real VTAC belt is well made with heavy duty fabric and a stiffener. It also has padding and "D" rings for suspender attachments. This copy has none. Without padding and stiffener for support it's useless. Cheaply made in VietNam.Save your money or get a real Brokos Belt.

I'm curious as to why this item cannot be found on the VTAC website? The version on the VTAC website has suspension attachment points and is listed at $119.99; this one does not have the suspension attachments and is obviously much less money. Why the differences?
    1 Answers
I’m not sure but you may be looking at a different brand. This one is by 5.11 Tactical. From what I found the 5.11 version was made in partnership with Viking Tactical and has all the same features minus the suspender attachment points.

What is the widest belt that would fit through this?
    1 Answers
You could probably fit a 2.25"-2.5" belt but it would be really tight. I would stick to the regular vtac cobra belt or something similar.

What is the max width of the the interior belt? Can it take a 2"?
    1 Answers
Yes - it can take a 2" belt. I'm using the VTAC Cobra belt with mine. It's a little difficult to weave through but once you have it situated it's an awesome setup. I highly recommend the High Speed Gear Tacos and an RTI holster setup (G Code) and you are good to go with multiple weapons platforms!

If I have a 32" waist and plan on using this with the TRIAB 18 what size should I get?
    1 Answers
The S-M size measures 26.5 inches in length. The L-XL size measures 33.5 inches in length. The design of this belt is intended to stop shy of your belt buckle so you most likely would want the S-M size.

I don't see loops for suspension system. Does this still have the capabilities?
    2 Answers
This 5.11 Belt does not have suspender connection points.

I'm a little curious about this subtle difference in Brokos belts. On the VTAC website, Brokos belts all have the suspension attachments; they do not sell one without the attachments. Also, VTAC's website has the Brokos belt listed at $119.99, as opposed to $74.99 like it's listed here on LA Police Gear. Can someone please tell me the reason for these differences?

This 5.11 Brokos Belt will not work with this Rush 24 Pack since the Rush 24 does not have a "loop" to run the belt through.

What is the exact length of the L/XL brokos belt? I'm a 34 waist. Bought small battle belt before has always left me with very limited real estate on my belt. Depending on the belt, there's an approximate 5 to 6 inches unusuable space in front of the belt because of the space allotted to separate the ends. If the L/XL measures to 32 inches in length, then I will buy that instead of the S/M. Thank you in advance.

The Brokos Belt in L/XL is 34" in length.
