    Great Utility Bag
I have had the bag for just a couple of weeks but it seems to be exactly what I needed. I am working as a production security supervisor in the emerald mines in Columbia. It's hot, wet, and dirty down below. This bag holds a change of dry clothes that I can change into after shift. When empty it rolls up and stores easily into my weekend back pack for an extra bag...dirty clothes etc..Plus it has the cool 5.11 logo and a good price!
ProsPerfect size and stores easily for that extra bag.

    Nice packable bag.
Bag rolls up small and fits in my cargo pockets so its available if I need it. The straps are comfortable enough when hiking and carrying light loads (10lbs.)
ConsShock cord broke after first use.

Perfect For quick hike, big enough for over night.
THe look good and fell good on back. Just one pocket in the bag, but it's room enough you could get enough in there for a quick outing or even over night. I bought two for me and the wife and get home bags. The should work out well.
ProsLooks good, roomy, Fell good on back
ConsWow of been nice to have an inner pocket or two for small items.

    Best value
Very practical everyday bag the shoulder straps make it very comfortable to distribute the weight.
    ProsThe straps are perfect.
ConsThe button / clasp use to close the top of the bag keeps getting undone causing the top of the bag to open.

Functions great as a day bag
Just took this on a trip to Japan with me. Packs up nice and small, but plenty of storage for a day bag. Straps are comfy. Bare bones sack, but it made me feel confident from pickpockets because of the single cinch opening on the top. Great light weight, light duty, lightly priced travel companion.
ProsLow Cost Lightweight and Packable Discreet look Pickpocket resistant (there's only the one big pocket, unless they slash the bottom of your bag)
ConsNot really a con but feels as sturdy as a standard cinch bag (but that is what it is) No bells and whistles on this one

    5.11 Rapid Excursion Pack
Bought this so when I am traveling I can leave my large backpack at the hotel and throw just the things I might need for the day in this bag. You can get quite a bit of stuff in it, even a small camera case.
ProsLightweight and waterproof nylon Shoulder straps Holds a lot 1400 cu in
ConsDoes not have a chest strap to stabilize the pack but made one with some webbing and buckles.
