Description
Please note that Tru-Spec and 5ive Star Gear are made by the same company, and that you may receive 5ive Star Gear paracord OR Tru-Spec paracord when you order the Tru-Spec paracords. They are the same exact paracord.

550 paracord has tons of uses and should be included in everyone's outdoor kit, tactical kit, or just around the house. Uses include: safely opening doors from a distance during building searches, camping, crabbing, indoor and outdoor clotheslines, halyard lines. garden lines, venetian blinds, awning lines and other things that require great strength, durability, quick drying, rot and mildew resistance. Military Para Cord consists of seven separate nylon strands inside a sheath to provide strength. The individual strands can be removed for other uses and the sheath can be used by it's self for lanyards of all types.

In an emergency, the inner strands can be removed for fishing line or sewing thread.

This is your general run of the mill everyday paracord. It's usefull for many things, not much more to say than that. If you need some, buy it.

Just as good as the issued stuff. Millions of uses

Not all paracord is created equal. This stuff is sturdy and durable. Doesn't get brittle if left out in the sun. Very important for tactical utility cord.

paracord is paracord
June 7, 2015
paracord is great when you need something bigger than string or wind but smaller than a rope. Otherwise not much to say about it, don't use it for it's intended purpose for parachutes.
Pros:
find many uses for it
Cons:
hard to fuse after cutting whn that is needed
