LAPG Tactical Bail Out Gear Bag - Best Seller

ive had this bag for about 2 months i think. i dont use it for a range bag, instead i carry it with me everyday to work. i looked at just about every type of carry bag, or EDC bag including the Maxpedition line and this is what i decided to try. im aboslutely 100% happy with my purchase, and my opionion is that this is the best bag for what i need, and for $20 this thing is way underpriced. please dont be put off by the cheap price. i work as a lineman for a utility company, and this lets me carry just about everything i need to make being out on the street everyday more convient, and the emergency calls i respond to at night. this bag has shown absolutely no signs of wear. one of the best features is the ability to carry drinks, cause i always have one with me, and with the shoulder strap it frees up both hands, even while carrying drinks, meal replacement bars, flashlights, all my vitamins / supplements / medications, and the little things i could ever need being out on the street and away from other conviences. bottom line is, IF this bag broke, or was lost - i would buy another one ASAP.

You cannot beat the value of this bag. A lot of nice features. The only thing - and this is for all these same types of bags - is that I wish bag makers would put a lighter material on the inside of the bags (instead of black) so you can easily find smaller objects in the large compartments.
Still - this is my range bag and carries everything (with room to spare) for when I go shooting.

I bought this bag in OD. Based on another review I knew the interior would still be black. It does severely limit finding things inside the bag ie; allen wrench, screw driver, even headphones. I wish they could either match the interior to the exterior or use a grey instead of black.

my only other complaints/room for improvement are also pretty small.

There are two tiny pockets between the two mag pockets, they are pretty pointless. I would rather see a more practical pocket.

One of the larger pockets has a "rain guard" that overlaps the zipper. My LAPG operator bag has the same things on the zipper. I believe they are to keep water from getting through the zipper, but they are constanly getting in the way of zipper pulls.

My final modification would be to maybe add a bottom "base plate" something light but stiff to shove in the bottom and keep the bag expanded and flat on the bottom. My bag wants to compress back up and always roll over.

Despite these "room for improvements" it is a great range bag, a great deal, and could be used for a million different functions well. I am thinking about buying another to use as a more daily messenger type bag.

Quality bag for the price. Stitching isn't great, but i coated all the stitiching with some heavy duty glue and its held up. The inside is velcro lined so you can use the 5.11 style buck up belt system pouches. Too bad Lapg doesn't have its own line of Velcro backed pouches.

This is the best value on the internet for a medium sized range bag/bailout bag. Most others are double the price and often have fewer features/pockets. The divider in the main pocket is well thought out, giving 2 main sections (or not) and a side section for a pistol sleeve. Or it can be divided lengthwise down the middle for more room for pistols. The end and side pockets are completely adjustable for many uses... speed loaders, magazines, ammo boxes, glasses, cleaning rags, and on and on. Even with the shipping to GA this deal was $20 dollars less than anything I found locally-- and a lot more functional than anything else in it's size range. You won't be sorry!!

I was looking for a range bag but I found it a bit small. I was not able to put my hand gun case and ammo in it. But it seems very weel made. This is now our new tactical diaper bag. Two side pouches for sippy cups and plenty of room for diapers, wipes, snacks and a change of clothes for when the one year old gets the explosive diarrhea. The kids love all of the pockets to fill up with all of their toys. This bag for $20 is great. Even if you don't need one. Buy it.

Very well constructed bag. Fit most necessary work related equipment. Also nice for range days. Add the flag patch and it looks great. Recommended.

Ordered this bag to use a first aid/range bag for firearms classes that I put on. Lots of different compartments, seems to be made really well.

Wow, unbelievable. I was a little leery buying an LAPG bag considering the seam tearing issues on their 3-day assault pack. I figured for $20, why not try it. The bag is my new range bag. Nice details like adjustable pocket flaps, the end sleeves fit a nalgene water bottle. I love this bag, don't hesitate, GET ONE.

Cons: (Minor) The removable internal divider and small side pockets are a little useless.

Overlall, a great piece of gear. I am actually grabbing the jumbo one as a BOB for my Shepherd.

Perfect for a range bag. Was able to carry (2) pair of ear muffs, (6) boxes of 50 rounds, a 9mm and a 40; with plenty of room for more stuff.
Add on the Flag and Zombie Hunter patch, and it's an awesome bag.

One of the most feature rich bags I've ever used. I have two of them. They wear well over time and can easily swallow a Glock and two spare mags in their Back-up-belt compatible outer compartment. Lots of thought went into this design and IMO you cannot beat this for a bedside grab and go Bail Out Bag.

This bag is best seller for a reason. I bought it for a get home bag to toss in the truck for a plan z kinda day, and it is perfect for that. This bag holds everything I need and fits perfectly behind the jump seat of my s10, as long as I don't have anything in the end pouches. This is a great bag for an unbelievable price. Great for a range bag holds everything I need with room to spare, Lots of pockets to keep things organized and easy to find. The only thing that is not easy to find is the hidden pocket but I guess that is why they call it hidden. Love this bag and will be buying more

what else can I say...

The interior of the bag is black, regardless of which color bag you purchase (I got the tan); unfortunately, that makes finding something inside that much more difficult. Aside from that, it's a great bag for an unbeatable price. Only 4 stars because they should at least tell you the interior is all black on the product description page, since the pictures don't show it.

great item for a very small price

This is one of those must have items for going to the range and good luck finding another bag that is made with these quality materials for this price. My favorite items on LAPG are their brand I can't believe the prices!

The compartments are just about perfect, in the right spots and right sizes and right access, to make this an ideal diaper bag that doesn't look real girly. Fine quality. Shipping was more expensive than I'd expect, but total delivered cost was around $30.

I haven't tried it as a range bag. I'm not sure it'd hold the 5.45mm 45-rounders, but might be OK for most uses.

Bought this bag for myself,and immediately ordered a second one for one of my sons as soon as I got it. It's many pockets and features make it very versatile.
Only wish the center large zippered pocket were a little longer to accommodate a notebook easier.

I bought the jumbo version a couple years ago but had to stop carrying it as it was just to big. I then got the normal size. I was worried at first if all my stuff would fit...well it does! I am very impressed with LAPG products. The bag is durable, just the right size and versatile. I will buy another one.

Bought 2 small ones for me and my husband - a jumbo one for my son. I've had it for going on 2 years and the bag has held up great!! I use mine all the time to hold my shells and gear for shooting. I don't leave the house without it!!!

Ordering this bag was simple and delivery was on time. but i do have to admit, I didn't but this bag as a go-bag or range-bag. I got it as a "manly" diaper bag and it works wonders!!!

This is great, and holds everything I need for shooting my P99 and Saiga .308 rifle, except of course for the rifle. I wish it would stand up straight a bit easier, but for twenty plus shipping it is amazing.

Can't beat the price I got during the "5 Days of Christmas" sale on day 3. I wish I could have gotten in on all the other sales as well but gotta work for a living and couldn't always get on the internet to make the purchase.

I bought this bag to use as a range bag and it has served me quite well thus far. I do have a few minor complaints. The two AR mag pouches can hold two 30 round pmags each, but the top flap will not come down far at all. It will attack to the velcro, but is not very secure. Two 30 round USGI mags fit decent, but still not great. Making the flaps longer would fix this. The bottom large pouch in between the mag pouches is hard to access if the small pouches (look like one but there are actually two under the flap) above it are full. I keep a simple rag in it and it's easy to maneuver out but if you have any bulky item you'll have to remove the contents of the pouches above in order to access it. The horizontal bottom pouch on the opposite side is almost useless, though four G23 13 round mags fit inside of it. Other than that, there's not much use for it.

Other than that, the bag is great and even with these complaints I still use it with success. It has held up great so far and I run my gear pretty hard. If these minor issues were addressed this would definitely be the best bag out there. For the price you won't find anything else and I definitely recommend it.

I have bought three. Use 1 in each of my vehicles for emergency supplies and the other I used to carry my gun, glasses and hearing protection to the range. Good quality, heavy duty material and zippers.

This bag is exactly what I ordered. It has multiple pockets for any items you need to carry. Guys at work call it a man purse, sits on the passenger seat of my patrol car at work.

I got six of these bags, one for each boy and one each for my wife and I. I figured they could use these for a range bag or a bag with supplies to have on hand if they are out in their Jeeps and got stuck or stranded. They were very well received.

I love this bag. Plenty of room, I like how the main compartment can be configured however you'd like. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the snap button that holds the carrying handles together was broken when I received the product.

Great bag! Especially for the price! I bought 3 bags, 2 as Christmas gifts and 1 for myself. I keep mine in my vehicle as a bail-out/emergency bag. I have a handgun with extra mags, 4 30rd PMAGS, a couple of boxes of ammo. Some of your average emergency gear. Have some flares, first-aid kit, gloves, poncho, safety glasses, 2 flashlights, extra batteries, hand warmer packets, etc.
Can fit more in it than you think! Just a great deal!

As a Police Chaplain I'm on call, this bag is by the door 24-7. I carries everything I need - plus the nice things to have. I got mine two years ago just to see if it was big enough for the job. I just bough two more because we are graduating more chaplain and I want my two friends to have a bag that really gets the job done. Amazing how much gear fits in this bag and how convenient the size is. On patrol it can fit up front or tossed in the trunk this bag takes the abuse and had held up well.

Bag was shipped right away and came in perfect condition. It has plenty of pockets of all sizes for all my different stuff. I am using it as a range bag and holds all my equipment for a day at the range. Quality built and should last. I would buy it again.

This is a perfect sized go bag. I've got all the basic basic necessities that I would need when doing surveillance - just chuck and go. It's not too big and yet not too small - its a perfect size.

The bag itself looks great, it feels solid and has plenty of space. The shoulder strap left a bit to be desired. The hooks and rings that attach the strap to the bag are a very thin and cheap-feeling plastic. Still, for this price you cannot beat this bag.

I bought this bag for myself as an overnight bag, and it carries everything I need to take with me. It is well built, and tough, and looks sharp too. I'm thinking about getting more for gifts as you can't beat the price.

I purchased the bag in September and it sat in my trunk for a couple of months before I took it on a camping trip. I figured it would be the perfect bag to carry on our hikes since I didn't have a good backpack yet.
While on the first hike, I had used the loops on the shoulder pad strap to attach a walky-talky (using the walky's belt clip). However, when I tried to clip the walky back on the loop, one end of the loop pulled out the seam. The seam was sewn too close to the end of the strap.
Now I have a should strap pad that does not stay on the shoulder strap because it is secured properly.

That is not a big deal, but it makes me wonder about other seams.

I have sent an email to LAPG to see if they will stand by their product, but since it is more than 30 days from the date of purchase, I will not hold my breath.
I expected higher quality, but maybe it is just a case of getting what I paid for.

I ordered this bag as an addition to another order because of the price. I was not expecting much as the price was so low. Dead wrong! I should have ordered sooner. If you are looking for a bug out bag or just a bag to throw in the truck when out and about, this is it. I ordered this with the Maxpedition hook and loop holster and 3 mag holder (was a buy together and save deal). I carry my S&W M&P .40 compact inside along with extra mags and anything else I might need. I currently have a small med kit, four 30-round AR mags, two flashlights (with extra batteries) two boxes of ammo (one .40 cal and one 9mm) water bottle, gloves, eye protection, ear plugs, notebook, pen and marker, a couple of knives, including my pistol and two extra magazines. (May have other items I can't remember right now) Everything fits nice, it is not bulky, and I can access my pistol, thanks to the hook and loop holster, very quickly without fumbling around. I recieved another one of these bags as a Christmas present and I use that one for the range. I can hold alot of ammo, magazines, and anything I need for the range no problem. The shoulder strap can handle a heavy load and the actual clips to the bag from the shoulder strap seem to handle the wieght very well. The only problem I can find with this bag is the flaps for the AR magazines in the front. They need to be about two inches longer. The AR mag pouches are meant to hold two. The problem is I have ranger plates on my Magpul magazines. With the Ranger plates on, I can only fit one as the flap is not long enough to wrap atop of both mags and secure itself. I carry regular mags without ranger plates in them and my Magpul mags in another magazine holder. All in all this bag is great and I will probably order another one eventually.

This is an excellent bag with sturdy construction. The web straps that make the handles wrap completely around underneath the bag, that carries a lot of weight instead of putting all that pressure on the seams. I carry my 13" MacBook Pro in this bag. SNUG fit, but it gets in there (and they make this bag in a bigger size if you want). It has an internal divider and lots of pockets that make it perfect as a laptop bag.

Bought one to house items for a winter emergency kit to keep in my car and the other as a small range bag. Great bags for the price and plenty of storage for lots of items. I'll be picking up the hook and loop holster and mag holders soon for the range bag and it'll be perfect.

This bag is made of durable material and has many different pockets to compartmentalize what I need. I have used it as a range bag - perfect for carrying my handguns and accessories.

I have had 3 of these and I love them. I'm on my 3rd because I am bad about losing things off my motorcycle... tsk tsk. Anyway, this bag is perfect for me. It fits my clipboard nicely along with some tupperwares for lunch and has a "secret" velcro pouch between the outside wall and one of the strap handles. Nobody else has ever found it and I've been going through checkpoints daily for my job for years now.

I bought this bag to use on duty it worked perfectly, then was reassigned to the Daddy daycare division. Our expensive diaper bag broke and this took its spot and has been serving faithfully for a 1.5 years and has held everything needed for a growing boy(diapers, bottles, spare clothes). I am going to be buying another for the next addition to the family.

I use this bag as a small "go" bag that I keep in my office. It allows me to have some basics ready to go under my desk without taking up too much space. For the price it can't be beat.

It is a decent quality material (it actually feels a bit sturdier then my $150 Blackhawk assault pack). It has plenty of storage and storage options. Overall it's a great bag at a great price.

I am a Police officer and purchased this bag to transport gear to my side job and have not been disappointed. For $20 it is an unbelievable value and is the PERFECT size! The only thing that i wish it had (but is not that big of a deal) is the felt padding on the opposite side of the hidden section of this bag.
I have had other bags before (Tactical Push Pouch, Neat freak organizer) and they were too small and did not have the room i needed. i would recommend this product to anyone especially anyone in law enforcement. Having the velcro strip on the front of the bag is a big plus as well.

I bought this bag to use as a range bag. We go to the range quite often for hand gun carry classes and training drills. I thought this would be a great bag to purchase to carry all of of my gear such as ear and eye pro, extra rounds, mags, water bottle, stapler, staples, anything and everything. The bag overall itself is alright. The interior of the bag should be made with a light gray/stone color so that it is easier to see inside the bag. The main compartment does not open as wide as it should but still isn't bad. I think there are a lot of improvements that could be made to this bag and I would then give it 5 stars. It is a very durable bag as I have put it to the test to see how well it will hold up. It's not a bad bag, just feel it could be better. Definitely worth the price but I however would not order another one unless they upgraded it some.

I got 2 of these for free with promotional items a bit back, I thought it would be cheap and small. Nope! Very well built, sturdy, lots of cargo space for such a small bag. I dont use it for the range, I use it for a vehicle bug out bag. It holds 4 MRE's, map, knife, 550cord, emergency blanket, water tablets, medical bandages, 1 32oz bottle, and guess what, it can still hold plenty more!!

Would I pay for it? No, because I got 2 for free in the promotions, so I'm great already!

Got this bag on a promo LAPG was running awhile back and was blown away with the quality and versitility. This Bail Out Bag makes the perfect range bag or a perfect companion bag to a dedicated rifle bag. It can hold TONS of stuff without any issues. I usually load mine up with 4 M4 mags, a few fat markers, multiple speed loaders, a couple Maxpedition EDCs i use for tools, my flashlight and multitool, two pairs of eye protection, two pairs of ear muffs, my pistol, and 3 pistol mags!!!! All that plus 500+ rounds in the end compartments and i could probably still pack in a few more goodies. The compartments are very well thought out and the removable devider for the main compartment works flawlessly. Material is extremely strong and sturdy and wont easily damage under extreme hard use. All in all, an excellent addition to any shooters gear and a bag i will be using for years and years to come!! Thanks LAPG for another awesome product!!!

Extremely versatile. This is a perfect rang bag as well! The workmanship is superb especially for the price! Built for heavy duty uses. It?s not water resistant, but it doesn?t have to be, again, especially at this price! If you have not gotten it, I highly recommended!!
