The Surefire X300 Ultra B Light features a rugged, aerospace aluminum body that is Mil-Spec hard anodized for scratch and corrosion resistance and sealed to make it weatherproof. This light delivers a stunning 1,000 lumens of LED-generated output with a TIR Lens to create a far-reaching high-intensity beam with a larger center spot that is ideal for close- to medium-range engagements. Positively identify threats at significant distances while temporarily impairing your adversary’s vision while also having a provided extensive peripheral illumination for maintaining situational awareness. The ambidextrous switching provides one-finger control of momentary-on or constant-on activation.

"Performs as advertised and I hoped. It is so bright that it overcomes the human eye's ability to identify where the light is coming from. Eats batteries in exchange, manufacturer says 75 min. per pair, seems about right, so keep spares on hand. I have to dismount it to swap batteries with my gun (full-size metal frame), but it stays very securely in place. Dropped it a few times so it hit first while attached to the empty gun, barely a scratch & stayed in alignment. Planning to buy a couple more now that it has proven itself."

"Upgraded from the original X200 to this and it’s a million times better! The fit and finish is great. The light output is awesome. Wish it would have the diamond shape beam like my X200 but that’s my preference. All around great weapon light for the money!"

I purchased this light because

"I purchased this light because it is specifically supposed to be the most compatible with my Safariland 6390 holster. I find, however, it is almost too tight. I have other lights like Olight, that get a bad rap but honestly, I don’t see a benefit of this over other brands for the cost. I think I’d try the Streamlight before this and save $100+"
