The A2 LED Aviator is a compact dual-output flashlight that provides two distinct beam types and optional output colors. It uses virtually indestructible power-regulated LED emitters and a precision micro-textured reflector to produce both spot and flood beams in your choice of white, red, green, or blue. The Aviator's tactically-correct two-stage pushbutton tailcap switch lets you instantly select an output level: press for a momentary-on long-runtime flood beam for general night use, close work, or where you need to preserve your night vision; press further for a momentary-on white spot beam—nearly six times the light of a big two-D-cell flashlight; twist for constant-on low, twist further for constant-on high.

Two distinctive beams, in four possible light-spectrum combinations, make the A2 LED Aviator soar above the competition. Its high-output primary LED produces a blinding white beam with enough power and reach to light up the tail of a 747 for preflight inspection (thus the Aviator moniker). Four secondary LEDs (available in night-vision-friendly green, white, red, or blue) produce a wide-angle, low-signature beam that's useful without compromising your night-adapted vision.

A primary LED generates a brilliant spot beam with plenty of reach and more than enough output to temporarily blind and disorient an aggressor. Four secondary LEDs (available in four night-vision-friendly colors) produce a wide, low-signature beam with sufficient output to illuminate a map or check cockpit controls without compromising your night-adapted vision. Solid-state LEDs have no filaments to break or burn out and are power-regulated to maximize output and runtime.

A precision micro-textured reflector blends and focuses the light generated by the LEDs to creat a near-flawless beam-no rings or imperfections to distort what you see. You get both a tight, bright primary beam with plenty of reach, and a low-output, wide-angle beam with enough spread to accommodate your peripheral vision and preserve your night-adapted vision.

A tough, lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum body is extremely durable and resists crushing and bending. The smooth, fluted design won't catch on clothing and provides a secure grip in wet or cold conditions, or while wearing gloves. Mil-Spec hard anodizing provides an attractive olive-drab finish that's nearly as hard as diamonds and protects your investment.

O-rings seal out moisture and keep Aviator's high-performance electronics running perfectly. Ergonomic tailcap switching makes light activation easy and efficient. Just place your thumb on the tailcap pushbutton switch and press for momentary-on activation of the flood beam; press further for momentary-on spot beam. Twist the tailcap for constant-on operation of the flood beam and a bit more for constant-on of the spot beam.
