The G2X Pro is a compact yet powerful polymer-body flashlight that uses a high-efficiency LED—virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break—to provide two light output levels: a brilliant, penetrating, perfectly pre-focused 320-lumen beam, and a 15-lumen low-output setting that lets you greatly extend the runtime per set of batteries, an invaluable option when you find yourself miles from civilization. Press the tailcap switch for momentary-on low, press further to click constant-on low, return to off and press or click on again within two seconds for high. The tough Nitrolon® polymer body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and resists scratches, abrasion, and corrosion. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector delivers a comparatively wider beam with generous peripheral light. We also make an aerospace aluminum-body version of this light, the 6PX Pro, and a single-output version with a tactical tailcap switch, the G2X Tactical.

Features:

  • Virtually indestructible LED emitter regulated to maximize light output and runtime
  • Two output levels—high for maximum light, low for extended runtime
  • Precision micro-textured reflector creates smooth, optimized beam
  • Tough polycarbonate window resists impact
  • Tough Nitrolon® body, anodized aluminum bezel
  • Dual-output tailcap click switch—press for momentary-on low, click for constant-on low, return to off then press or click again for high
  • Weatherproof—O-ring and gasket sealed
  • Includes high-energy 123A batteries with 10-year shelf life

    Specifications:
    Output/Runtime:
  • High - 320.0 lumens / 2.0 hours
  • Low - 15.0 lumens / 45.0 hours
  • Length: 5.20 inches
  • Bezel Diameter: 1.25 inches
  • Weight w/Batteries: 4.4 ounces
  • Batteries: 2 123A (included)

    Great Light
    February 2, 2014
This is a very good light. Low output is good for general work and the high output really shines. I can light up my back yard fence at 30 yards easily. Small and powerful. You can't go wrong.

    Good flashlight for price
    February 1, 2014
Flashlight has been good so far. Only thing I dont like is that the high setting is only on the second click you do, so you have to press it twice to get more light.

    Great
    January 16, 2014
My favorite handheld of all time. The 15 lumen is perfect for admin stuff of if the power goes out. Am planning on getting several more
    Pros:
Price, durability, battery life (low output)
    Cons:
Tailcap is a little different than the "tactical" surefires due to the dual output and "click" for constant on but only takes a few min to get used to

One Of the Best Surefire Deals Out There
    January 15, 2014
Over the last two years I have ordered 10 of these for my machine shop, personal use, and as gifts. These have been dropped in machining oil, dropped from the top of pallet racks, left on 180 degree Fahrenheit hotplates, and suffered light abuse out doors in a backpacking environment. All units remain in good working order. Under hard impact the aluminum and the lightly crenelated plastic lens retaining bezel bends inward, but as the lens is set back 3/16 of an inch it doesn't affect the functionality of the unit. The dual output is one of the handiest features. In a day I might need the high setting to look into a dark high pressure testing tank, and then using low power look at a cutting insert in a machine tool that has surrounding materiel of highly polished stainless steel (too much glare on high setting). We used to use the Surefire G3 and G3 long run-time (lower 80 lumen) models in the shop. We have all gone to the dual output G2X. It is also of a very handy size. All of the 3 cell Surefires have been relegated to emergency kits and automobile trunks. I have a G2X in a pistol taco right now. I always use flap covered pouches when outdoors. If you are new to the Surefire game and used to picking up 20$-50$ flashlights this is the one to get you started.
    Pros:
Great robustness. Tolerant of heat and immersion. Well thought out allowing for functionality when damaged. No loss of performance having the body made of polymer as opposed to aluminum. Light weight. Rear cap Safety. Dual output.
    Cons:
I have noted a variation of light color range. The units I have received (10 in two years) have ranged from a warmer (but not that yellow incandescent) white to a bluer cooler white.

This is the 3rd surefire g2 series light ive bought and i like it the best of the three. It is alot brighter then the old g2l and has a low setting to boot , for the money there isnt a better flashlight out there and its like every other suerfire product built like a tank !!!

    Great light for the money
    October 4, 2013
Purchased the light to use during my pre dawn run. I had hoped that the low setting would be enough and only need to use the high during emergencies. Turned out that I was foolish to think that 15 lumens would be sufficient which was my mistake. The 15 lumens is perfect for around the house bit I use the full lumens when outside now which lights up the night around me. The light is light and comfortable in hand. After purchasing this light it's got me looking at only Surefire for all my future light purchases.

    Great light!
    September 11, 2013
I used this G2X at a 2-night advanced tactical handgun class at Front Sight. Worked like a charm. Easy to give momentary light or use the switch. You can't go wrong with SureFire!
    Pros:
    Excellent quality.

    Great light
    July 10, 2013
This is a GREAT light! I love the dual output with the low at 15 lumen and the high at 320 and it feels good in the hand. I liked this so much that I ended up buying a second one. It only uses two batteries so if you're in need of an awesome flashlight I recommend you pick this up.

    A great tac light
    June 24, 2013
This is just a great light. I had the older version, back when the max output was only 200 lumens, but I lost it. Anyway, Surefire really did great on this light. It is tough, comfortable to hold and carry, and has a broad, but not too broad, beam. It is focused enough so that it still has some spread. At only $66, if you can, you should buy this light. And for more convenient carrying, pick up a V21 belt holster to carry it when you aren't using it.

Great Value for a Great Light
    June 23, 2013
I own several Sure Fire lights and have given many as gifts. This is a great light for a really good price. I haven given this model as a gift and it has always been well recieved. The more expensive Sure Fires are great, but for the money this can't be beat.

    Great little light
    June 17, 2013
Perfect duty light. Small enough to not be cumbersome on your belt but bright enough to make a difference. If your in the market for a small but powerful light I highly recommend. Pros: size weight and power Cons: the end will get hot with extended use and also it has a lot of power forints size but that doesn't mean it comparable to some of the larger flashlights out their. In my opinion it's all the flashlight you need.

    May 13, 2013
great price, quality and the increases output and battery life is awesome. the tactical tailcap can be pressed for momentary on or clicked in for constant on. using it for clearing rooms isnt much more difficult than a single output light once you practice douple tapping the switch a few times. the low output is more than enough to do menial tasks around the house during a power outage

    Surefire G2X dual output 320
    April 18, 2013
Excellent everyday practical/tactical light. I purchased this for my mother in law who is an educator. I gave it to her to use as another line of defense while at school where she cannot legally posses the ability to protect herself and her students yet, due to pathetic firearm restrictions. Surefire's dual output design allows her to use it for simple lighting needs without burning through her batteries too quickly. Very bright 320 lumens can be a weapon in itself when used correctly. 9th Surefire flashlight I have purchased. They are the best flashlight manufacturer bar none.

Which Spare Carrier do I need for this light?
    on August 17, 2013

    Answer:
According to Surefire's website, you will want to purchase either the SC1 or SC3 Spare Carrier. The difference between these two is the amount of batteries they will carry (The SC1 carries 6 and the SC3 carries 4).
