The XO's patent-pending TIROS (Total Internal Reflection Optical System) one-piece lens is the technology behind the XO's enhanced light delivery. Firing beams with rifle-like precision, the TIROS lens delivers more lumens per watt at a greater distance than comparably sized lens systems. The benefit is compelling: users get the brightness they need in an efficient, compact tool. The XO beam is uniformly circular, with a well-defined hot spot and balanced peripheral pattern, so you get excellent visibility of the target object while still lighting the immediate surroundings.
