Works, for me

I am a 5'8" tall woman. This pack sits right at the small of my back. I have been carrying it fully loaded for several days to get used to it. It has been fantastic. I have always used packs that were far less expensive but, as is often the case, they don't work out for various reasons: they break down, they're uncomfortable, they don't sit well, etc. So far I am loving this pack. So far, a nearly perfect EDC.
Pros:Fits well. Seems rugged and able to take a beating (time will tell). I have had several people comment on the pack and have had no one comment that it appears "military" or "survivalist." (They would be surprised to see what I'm carrying.)
Cons:No dedicated glasses pocket. Zipper on the main compartment is rough. It does not open smoothly so I always need two hands to open it. I have heard these zippers are self lubricating. Time will tell if it gets better or worse.
