Description

Made in the USA

With Automatic Voltage Sensing (AVS) Technology, new High Output Heads on 2-Cell Flashlight Bodies produce 650 lumens with runtimes of 1 hour 30 minutes* and produce 900 lumens with runtimes of 1 hour 45 minutes* on 3-Cell Bodies. Get this world-class performance whether you purchase a complete new High Output Flashlight or retrofit your existing Elzetta Flashlight with a New High Output Head (all Elzetta Flashlight components are interchangeable, interoperable, and available individually).

In addition to industry leading efficiency, new Elzetta High Output Flashlights are built, well, like an Elzetta; fully-potted electronics provide unmatched durability and field-replaceable solid-acrylic optical lenses shape warm, rich beams with outstanding throw, generous spill, and a "soft edge" that cannot be replicated by reflector-based flashlights. Like all Elzetta products, these new High Output Flashlights are Made in the USA and guaranteed forever.

Ordering Instructions:

1. Select a Flashlight Body - 2 Cell or 3 Cell
    a. 2 Cell: Makes overall flashlight ~ 5" long and ~5.5 oz. A great choice for weapon-mounted applications.
    b. 3 Cell: Makes overall flashlight ~ 6" long and ~7 oz. A great choice for hand-held applications.
2. Select a LED Module - 235 Lumen Malkoff M60 (Standard 8 Degree), 235 Lumen Malkoff M60F (20 Degree Flood), or the AVS High Output Head (650 Lumens with 2 Cell Body or 900 Lumens with 3 Cell Body)
    a. M60: Excellent light projection to illuminate distant objects. "Soft edge" beam minimizes tunnel-vision effects. Perfect for rifle-mounted applications. A great choice for long distance & general use. Runtime = 2.5 hours*
    b. M60F: Outstanding light dispersion, or "spill". Illuminates a wide area with little or no "hot spot". Exceptional choice for close quarters battle (CQB) applications. Perfect for shotgun-mounted applications. The best choice for indoor or close-range use. Runtime = 2.5 hours*
    c. AVS High Output Head: Tremendous light output combines excellent projection to illuminate distant objects and generous spill for superb situational awareness. Outstanding choice for applications demanding extreme amounts of light from a compact flashlight. Provides 650 Lumens of Output with the 2 Cell body or 900 Lumens of output with the 3 Cell body. Runtime = 1.5 hours*
3. Select a Bezel - Standard or Crenellated
    a. Standard: 1.45 Inch Outer Diamater. Smooth profile minimizes snagging.
    b. Crenellated: 1.45 Inch Outer Diamter. Scalloped profile provides strike implement for self defense/personal protection.
4. Select a Tailcap Switch - Rotary, Clicky, High/Low, High/Strobe, Remote Tape Switch 5 Inch, or Remote Tape Switch 12 Inch
    a. Rotary: Momentary activation is achieved by pressing the pushbutton. Constant On is achieved by rotating the Tailcap fully clockwise. Some operators consider this design to be "Tactically Correct"
    b. Clicky: Momentary activation is achieved by pressing the pushbutton lightly. Constant On is achieved by pressing the pushbutton firmly until it 'Clicks'. Pressing firmly again will Click the Light off.
    c. High/Low: Activation is achieved exactly like the Clicky Tailcap in either the High or Low mode. High Output (650 or 900 Lumens) occurs when the Tailcap is rotated fully Clockwise (screwed all the way on). Low Output (~15 Lumens) occurs when the Tailcap is rotated Counter-Clockwise (unscrewed) anywhere from 1/8 to 1/2 rotation from the High position. A simple, intuitive User Interface with great versatility.
    d. High/Strobe: The High/Strobe Tailcap operates exactly like the High/Low Tailcap only a high-frequency Strobe replaces the 'Low' mode. The simple user interface requires no multiple clicks to operate, no confusing menus to navigate, and no precise movements or detents to manipulate. Unlike competitive units, this Tailcap does not draw any current when not in use and will not drain batteries while in storage. The Strobe function can disorient an assailant and is an excellent option for self defense.
    e. Remote Tape Switch 5 Inch Cable: The Remote Tape Switch provides operation of the light via a molded pressure pad. Elzetta's unique constant-on feature allows hands-free operation. Fail-safe constant-on feature remains fully functional even if pressure pad is damaged or cable is severed. 5-inch cable works well with vertical foregrips & applications where hand placement is near the flashlight.
    f. Remote Tape Switch 12 Inch Cable: The Remote Tape Switch provides operation of the light via a molded pressure pad. Elzetta's unique constant-on feature allows hands-free operation. Fail-safe constant-on feature remains fully functional even if pressure pad is damaged or cable is severed. 12-inch cable is great for longer barreled weapons or where a greater distance exists between the operator's hand and the flashlight.

How do I know which Elzetta Modular Flashlight Configuration is best for me? In four quick and easy steps, our steps above will help you select each component to create the perfect Elzetta Tactical LED Flashlight for your preferences and mission.

How do the Elzetta Tailcaps differ from one another? Elzetta Tailcaps operate as follows: 1) Rotary Tailcap - Momentary activation is achieved by pressing the pushbutton. Constant On is achieved by rotating the Tailcap fully clockwise. 2) Clicky Tailcap - Momentary activation is achieved by pressing the pushbutton lightly. Constant On is achieved by pressing the pushbutton firmly until it 'Clicks' (pressing firmly again will Click the Light off). 3) High/Low Tailcap - Activation is achieved exactly like the Clicky Tailcap described above in either the High or Low mode. High Output (235 Lumens) occurs when the Tailcap is rotated fully Clockwise (screwed all the way on). Low Output (~15 Lumens) occurs when the Tailcap is rotated Counter-Clockwise (unscrewed) anywhere from a few degrees to 1/4 rotation from the High position. 4) High/Strobe Tailcap - operation is just like the High/Low Tailcap only a high-frequency strobe replace the 'Low' mode. Unlike competitive designs, no multiple clicks, no confusing menus, no precise movements are required to change modes and there is no battery drain when the flashlight is not in use. See demonstration video below.

How durable is an Elzetta Tactical LED Flashlight? Elzetta Flashlights are tough enough to drive nails ... literally! See video below:

Are Elzetta Tactical LED Flashlights waterproof? As seen in the video below, Elzetta Flashlights provide extreme waterproofing, even when disassembled!

How long do the batteries last in Elzetta Tactical LED Flashlights?
