    Zippers Fall
    March 29, 2014
I bought two pair of the "old school" & loved them. They lasted a long time before I wore them out. Then I bought four pair of these new ones. No side (waist) adjustment anymore & the zippers WILL NOT STAY ZIPPED. In an eight hour day, I spend time zipping them up literally every 5-10 steps walking. I will not purchase them again.
    Pros:
    Good fabric
    Cons:
    Zippers

Why in the world would you discontinue these pants? Did you wake up this morning and have a bowl of STUPID?! I have at least a dozen of these and would buy more, but they are not wearing out yet.
    Pros:
Comfortable, tough, can carry much of my 1st line gear

Best Pants Ever for the price
    March 10, 2014
I love these pants. I wish I had been paying attention to the LAPG website when these started to disappear. PLEASE bring this product back!
    Pros:
    Good fit, lots of pockets.

Just when I find the perfect trouser for work/play they discontinue it.

Add me to the list of folks who swear by the 10 pocket version of the Operator pant. I've been wearing these since LAPG introduced them. I tried Propper, 5.11, Woolrich, and a few of the others and none of them provide the functionality of the 10 pocket LAPG Operator pant. I see in the Q&A that LAPG is coming out with new designs. Please make sure to include something like the 10 pocket Operator otherwise I'll have to go back to buying someone else's and adding the extra pockets myself.
    Pros:
Pockets in all the right places. Priced so I don't have to baby them.
    Cons:
    I can't get any more.

    Cheap, cheap cheap
    February 19, 2014
I bought 4 pair of these. The zippers fall and the stitching comes out on each one of them. Lost velcro patches on all of them. Plus, velcro is a very poor closure option for "tactical" gear. It's loud, loud, loud.

Perfect pants, now they are not stocking them... :(
    February 18, 2014
i bought one pair to try and i love them but now they are not getting more and appear to just be depleting stock. So many great features like individual mag slots inside the thigh pockets, the lower leg pockets are perfect when you are driving, because you can reach them even with a seat belt on or in seated position... Many useful pockets
    Pros:
Great fit, perfect size and qty of pockets..
    Cons:
    No longer stocking sizes...

Good pants for the price. over the years bought several pairs that kept on going. could not where them out. the worst thing that happened, after serving me well for a long time, zipper broke. For $20 I can buy a new pair. Gave many pairs away to friends. They like seem to like them too.
    Pros:
tone of pockets. additional leg pockets are grate for use in vehicles for spare mags. cargo inner organizer compartments and clip ports.
    Cons:
leg pockets are not user friendly outside of vehicles for mags, but you can staff them with soft gear as needed. a bit too roomy in a crotch. if you are like me, after running for a bit (without suspenders) waist ends up around hips and crotch drops down to knees, but what cargo pants do not do that?

    great pants.
    January 25, 2014
These pants are great. I use them for everything. Even mowing my lawn and other yard work. Very durable. Thick but still breathable. I plan on buying more. These pants would be great in multicam coloring as would then use them for hunting season. I don't think i would ever not be wearing a pair. Not to mention the affordability.
    Pros:
    Everything about them.
    Cons:
No form of camo coloring option.

Great for the money but could be improved easily
    January 24, 2014
Like many have said they seem to run slightly small. Buttons do come of but te zipper is the weak link. To remake these pants as the best in the business do the following: 1.- YKK Zippers! 2.- Move Mobile Phone pocket to back side like a sap pocket 3.- Use Velcro or magnets to close rear flap pockets 4.- Improve the dye to reduce fading I would pay $5 more in a heartbeat if you made these improvements because they would be the best tactical pants ever made. 5.- I hope that they are going to restock the 10 pocket pants with improved quality because the basic design and value are great.
    Pros:
*Inexpensive *Organizer pockets in cargo pockets *Good features
    Cons:
*Zippers Break Easily *After several washings ZIPPER won't stay up! *Button at waist pops off too easily *Button rear flap pockets are inconvenient *Extra front pockets for magazines and cell phones are good on the range but not for sittingdown

    Best of the LAPG line
    January 23, 2014
They have the organizer pockets inside the main cargo pocket and handy pockets on the calf for access when you're sitting in a vehicle. They're durable enough for daily use but still lightweight enough for summer wear. These are the best pants that LAPG put their name on which figures they'd be the ones that they discontinue.
    Pros:
Plenty of cargo space w/ organizer pouches in main cargo pockets. Durable material Good fit
    Cons:
Weak zipper (attach loop of 550 and slip it over the button to fix) Weak stitching in spots - easy fix

    January 5, 2014
I like these pants with the lower leg pockets. Came back to buy more and they seem to be clearing out. Are there plans to restock or are they done?

    December 16, 2013
Owining four pairs I can say that the construction and utility is very good. Definitly the most bang for the buck
    Pros:
Construction and materials - 1st class Pockets and organization - excellent Great price and fast shipping LAPG customer service - world class
    Cons:
    Rarely available in my size.

Are these pants at all flame retardant for tactical operations involving flash diversionary devices? I see they are 60 cotton 40 polyester. Have they been tested at alll?
    on January 22, 2013

    Answer:
These Operator Pants have not been tested for flame resistance, so we are unaware to what extent, if any, they are flame resistance.

How much bigger does the elastic waist stretch. For example---does a 32'' waist stretch to 33'', 34'', etc?
    on November 26, 2012

    Answer:
These pants measure at the listed size when the elastic is fully stretched out. You should order one waist size larger than you usually wear.

Will there be a MultiCam option available? If not why?
    on April 1, 2013

    Answer:
We have thought about making these pants in a Multicam pattern, but not in the near future. We have not made them yet because the demand for these pants in Multicam is not very high.

I have a couple different versions of your great cargo pants. Seems the older version, which had the wide back pockets that dipped way down to connect with front pockets, also had a wide cargo pocket. This was great, as it fits an iPad! Does the new style fit an iPad in the cargo pocket? Thanks!
    on January 21, 2013

    Answer:
The cargo pocket will not fit a full sized iPad, but it will fit an iPad Mini if desired.

If I purchased two pair of two different waist sizes to try ? If I fit in a 30X32 or a 32X32, can I return the item that does not fit, and buy two to three more pair of the size that does fit? I wear 30X32 in the 511 taclite brand.
    on March 23, 2013

    Answer:
Yes, if you purchase a size that does not fit, you can exchange them for a size that does.
