Eberlestock is breaking new ground by introducing a new game-changer to the Hunting and Tactical hydration market. Designed as a ½-1 day pack. The Sawed-Off has ample room for ammo, food, light jackets, etc. and utilizes our new back pad placement for optimal comfort. Similar in size to the H2 Gunrunner, this pack offers a great compact design with scabbard carrying capabilities.

I haven't had this pack long, a few days of test fitting to figure out what I want to load it with and a couple of days in the field, but on those impressions, I'm glad this is a pack I bought. The main compartment carries enough camping gear for an ultralight overnight, or a 7.5 inch AR pistol split in half with optics, a few magazines, and a handgun and associated hardware. I love the size. Big enough, but not an inch to spare. The hydration system works fine, though I may try fitting one of Camelbak's mouth pieces to it (personal preference, it's what I'm used to). It has a couple of mesh pockets, one in the lid, and one in the secondary pouch, and I'm a fan of dividing small items up securely. The semi rigid structure makes finding things in the main pouch a breeze. The build quality is good, and I appreciate the zipper pulls; large loops held open with flexible tubing. It carries well enough for a day pack, and the back padding does give some breathability. All told, I'm looking forward to using this pack a lot more.
    Pros:
Right size for small jobs, comfortable shoulder harness, great zipper pulls, good layout.
    Cons:
Super light duty waist strap, molle is acceptable but only two rows makes it questionable to mount real loads (I put an IFAK on one side and was worried it might come loose if jostled too much), not much in the way of compression built in, so load it right or you'll have a small but shifty load.
