Best outdoor backpack

"I like the brand, they never let me down."

— Cagatay G. (5/5)

Great value

"Great backback for the cost"

— Thadd L. (4/5)

Very nice day pack. Perfect

"Very nice day pack. Perfect size for my laptop and associated peripherals, as well as office and personal items for use during the day. Only drawback is that the zippers continue to bind up on the material surrounding them."

— Jeffrey W. (4/5)

Awesome Backpack

"These bags are great. Durable, sturdy and well designed. I use mine daily for work. Zippers are durble and easily open. Very roomy and plenty of pockets for all you need."

— Victor S. (5/5)

Nicely made but small

"Was expecting to fit a lot more in this, but it is just too small. Nicely made, really like most of the features. 1st time I tried it on the chest buckle got stuck and it took me a few minutes to undo the buckle without breaking it. I'm suprised to say my Maxpedition packs are made slightly better. At least their buckles work with no fuss. I might use this as a car get home pack but its just so small it might not even work for that. Might sell/trade it or keep it still not sure."

Perfect

"This pack is the perfect size for my needs and well made. LAPG had the best price for Multicam and fast shipping. I have worn it on one all day hike and it was very comfortable."

— Da (5/5)

Great backpack

"I needed a backpack to use as my go bag and for when I got hiking. The Condor Convoy is well made. You can tell as soon as you open it up. The pockets are nice. There useful dividers to allow for better organization. I really like the radio pockets. I volunteer for emergency communications so having the ability to have a secure place for my HAM radios is important."

— Tom (4/5)

Great bag

"Strong tough, plenty of pockets, not too big but I knew that when I ordered it.. Perfect for me to take to work.."

— Jay (5/5)

A little small

"The quality of this pack seemed to be good, and I liked the design/features. I ordered this pack for work as a police officer as a squad bag to hold some work items and some cold weather gear. The main compartment was where I was planning on keeping a sip-up fleece jacket and a few other items, but the fleece took up all the space and made the main compartment. This caused the main compartment bulge a little, which then caused the other pockets capacity to be slightly diminished. I did return the pack, and ordered the Condor 3-Day pack, which is the same design, but a little bigger. So far the larger pack meets my needs. If being used as a bug-out-bag, it may be a little too small for your needs. I rated this pack 4 stars because of the design and apparent quality, but not 5 stars because it was a little smaller than I expected."

Great buy.

"I have used this bag on a few outings and love it so far. The quality is less than my 5.11 72 hour bag however so is the price. This is a perfect size for a day or scout bag. I must have 25 pounds in mine and carry it everyday, everywhere. Great bang for the buck."

Q&A

What is the size of the hydration pouch?: the hydration pocket can take a 2.5L hydration pouch just fine.
Is there a inner back support plate (internal frame) to give the bag support? I know the venture has one built in, but can't find info on whether or not the convoy has the same internal frame. Thank you!: unfortunately at this time this item does not have an internal frame that is available for purchase. the main support for the bag would come from the plate located along the back pocket.
Will a 17.3 inch laptop?: The Main Compartment contains a padded sleeve for tablets or 13"/15" laptops so your laptop would not fit.
What are the dimensions of the pockets especially the main compartment?: the overall dimensions of this bag are 18" H x 14" Wx 9" D
Is the waist strap removable?: Yes the waist strap is removable.
