    Best Pack I've bought
    August 31, 2016
I want to start by saying that I'm not military, law enforcement, or anything like that. I'm just your average concrete worker so this review wont be based on carrying military or law enforcement gear. I use this pack for daily carry whenever I leave the house. I mostly use it for going to the grocery store. It's a big pack. I can fit 2X 12 pack of soda in it with room to spare for canned goods, lunch meat, cheese, etc. That should give you a basic idea of the size of the main compartment. I also carry a small first aid kit, lighter, phone and ipod cords, roll of electrical tape, pens, pencils, notepads, etc in SOME of the smaller pockets it has. There are alot of pockets in this thing. My bike helmet fits in the helmet flap just fine, which is pretty nice. I've taken it on a few hikes and it's a bit uncomfortable because it's new and stiff. This is good though, it feels extremely durable. Only time will tell but I believe I will have this pack for many years before it finally breaks down. We'll see how it handles a 9 day hunting trip in the mountains, but I'm confident that it will excel at an excursion like that. When I bought this pack it came with a free Cannae Pro Gear "The Ready Action" Nylon Holster. This little thing is awesome! I can carry my pistol (Glock 41 [full size Glock .45 with 13 round mag, 36 oz. loaded]) in the hydration bladder/CC compartment on this bag and I don't even notice it. Not even when the bag is fully loaded. The velcro on the holster holds very firmly to the material of the hydration bladder/CC compartment, which is odd because it doesn't seem like it should. I have biked, hiked, and done some drop tests from shoulder height to see if my pistol would detach and fall to the bottom of the compartment and it didn't even budge. The straps seem to be sewn on securely and clips seem to be durable. More durable than your average pack. The waist strap is held on by velcro inside the bottom of the pack and is EXTREMELY hard to separate. I was very pleased by this, it means it wont be coming undone when it's loaded down and I'm in the middle of the mountains stalking elk. So far this pack has been everything I thought it would be and then some. I'm very pleased with it so far. Only time will tell how durable it is but I believe it will exceed all my expectations. If something else happens to it I will edit this review, if possible, or make another one.
