The best EDC mid-sized backpack out there
    April 9, 2014
I was looking for an alternative to the Rush 24 because it lacked several features which I consider to be essential to a mid-size EDC backpack. I checked out the Camelbak Urban Assault based on a good friend's recommendation. It has not disappointed at all. I've been carrying it for my contractor work and it's been great.
    Pros:
-integrated and insulated water bottle pockets -D-ring connectors to the harness -quick release buckles on the straps -adequate admin organization -padded laptop sleeve that stops short of the bottom of the bag so you can drop the laptop in without it hitting the floor -recessed secret phone pouch
    Cons:
    -none

Nice bag, well made and functional
    September 23, 2013
I bought this bag to use as...well, a diaper bag for my son. I didn't want to get a "man purse" for a diaper bag and most diaper backpacks are poorly made and do not last. With this, I can carry everything I need for an outing with my son and when he's older I can use it as a backpack for work. Heck, it's so well made, my son may be able to use it when he's older as well. I especially like the two side pockets that are big enough to each hold a Camelbak water bottle (one bottle is included with the backpack) The pack holds quite a bit of gear and rides comfortably. This is my 3rd Camelbak product and they never fail to impress.
