I have to wear long sleeves all year long because of our tattoo policy. These pants definitely help me keep cool during the hot summer months. Best pants I own and the other cops I work with want to know where I got them. Great buy!

Excellent pants, as usual another great product from Blackhawk. I use them for EMS, so the water resistant finish is nice, and the magnet closures make it very easy to quickly get into the pockets.

Blackhawk Warrior Wear TNT OPS Tactical Pants
    are Fabulous.
I have several pairs and they are the best purchase to date over other brands say my 511's!
I have purchased several colors and they are superb in Comfort, Fit, very light weight, design, pocket placement, hidden waist design, stain free application, maintain true colors!
I have come to rely on BlackHawk clothing as my go to Tactical Wear!
    Excellent for work and play!

    March 17, 2013

I really like these pants. They are a little snug at first but once they break in they are really nice. They run at least a size small (meaning order one size bigger). My only complaint is that two pairs of pants the button in the waistband was missing on one and popped off when I took them out of the bag to try on for the other.
    Ok for City use

    February 22, 2013

I buy 42 x 34 to ensure room to squat, crawl and tuck shirts in, but these are not true to size. They are great for hot weather city use, but the material is thin and offers no protection in the bush. Not even close to the standard of my LAGear Operator pants, now there is quality at a deal!
    Very disappointed

    February 15, 2013

I must say, I am normally a BIG fan of blackhawk. The pants however are not up to their level of quality. Not only do I find the fit "overly complicated" in the waist band area, the fabric is prone to serious static cling and is rather fragile. I've worn these pants in the field for just over a month and the fabric is already running in places. My LAPG Operator pants? Perfect after the same use. I'm glad I got these so cheap because if I had paid a ton for them, I would be upset. I can say the only good to these pants is the nifty magnetic pocket flaps...outside of that, big disappointment.

Bought these pants for my 17 yr old son. They are his favorite pair. He loves the storage the different pockets offer and says they are very comfortable. He wears 30Wx36L so it was great to find his size.
Good, but sizing changes with vendors
    Duluth, MN
    January 04, 2013

I bought two pairs of these in late 2010. They were awesome. I would second every positive thing you see in the other reviews.

I bought two more in early 2011 and they were waaay too small in the seat and especially the thighs. Now, either I gained 30 pounds in my butt/legs over the holidays (!), or they switched vendors.

This is a common problem with Blackhawk stuff, in my experience.

Pretty good pair of pants just wish Blackhawk had another belt loop right on the side in line with the leg. Make sure to order a size up in the waist, Blackhawk for some reason is just a bit smaller.

    December 27, 2012

Great pants for the warm winters in the S US. I don't mind the material being lighter, I prefer it. I do have some 65/35 as another reviewer referred which are great for colder weather. The price cannot be beat, I ordered 3 pair despite only needing one more.

Love the pants, but the pants are a bit "thin". Which is good and bad. Great for hot summer days, but not so much for long term wear and tear. The "clay" is a weird color. I wished i ordered navy or khaki. Don't get me wrong. I still love the pants, I just wish they were a bit thicker and tougher.

    December 23, 2012

100% nylon isn't the greatest stuff in the world. I've never had a pair of pants that were 100% nylon before and thought I'd try them. The look and feel are odd and uncomfortable. OK for the price but I'll stick to 65/35 blend from now on.

    December 18, 2012

I didn't know they were nylon; my fault for not reading the description closely enough, but pants fit well, if not a little snug. If I lose about 10-15#, they will fit just fine. Length is a little short, but shouldn't be a problem, as nylon will not shrink. Overall, a good buy.

I picked a pair of these pants for indoor rock climbing in the winter.
Comfortable and allows for a good range of movement while bouldering.

If you tuck in your shirt, it has a rubberized ring inside the waist band to keep your shirt tucked in.

    December 03, 2012

I like these pants. They are comfortable and I like the feel of the material. The only issue that I have with them is that they are prone to wrinkling...you almost have to pull them from the drier and hang them up right away so they do not.
Great pants, a bit small around the waste
    December 02, 2012

Very comfortable, great fabric, but a bit small around the waste. I'm normally a 34, but ended up going with a 36 here, which is a tad on the big side. Length seems true to size.

Awesome pants. We wear Navy blue TDU's on our team. I can sneak these in with the TDU top on occasion. I also use them with Tru Spec Navy Blue combat shirt for and alternate tactical uniform on operations and call out. These pants are awesome. They have a better cut than TDU's and are comfortable when active.

    November 17, 2012

I have worn my pair for hunting and at work for the last 2 months. They are comfortable, dry off quickly and seem durable. I have washed them every week (I rotate my clothes, so only wear once a week) and there has been no fading. I even got some complements at work. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny and they fit well. I love the magnetic closures and the shirt-stay in the waist. They are a little lighter weight and don't insulate well, so if you are operating in sub 50 degree weather, wear long underwear. I got a little cold on my hunting trip in Alaska when I sat on a boat for 5 hours without the long underwear. This is the best price online once again!

I like them. Can't beat the price. Just wore them at a local night time match in cold (for Texas) weather. Worked out great. They have a bit more of a greenish hue in the khaki than the pictures show, but not a big deal. I like them much better than cotton 5.11's. Great light technical pant. Haven't tried them in warm weather yet. I think I will get a pair of the shorts for the Texas summer matches.

    November 15, 2012

These are exactly as advertised...a tough and durable active pant for daily wear. I have bought several pairs, and haven't been able to tear them up yet. They aren't waterproof, but they shed water btter than some of my GoreTex rain pants. No, they won't pass muster for daily office wear after a couple of washes, the zippers in the leg pockets will pucker, but still 100% functional. About the only issue I see is the magnetic flaps on the leg pockets. If you are walking close past a metal surface(car door, frig, metal door jab), the pants will "jump" to the metal and make noise when they connect. These are by far my favorite daily casual wear.

After getting a job at a VW plant supplier I was informed my uniform had to be navy blue "kahki" style pants.. I wore some Ive had for a while and honestly after two days i thought i was going to rip my legs off. My knees were itching like crazy with the labor intensive work i was doing... Then I remembered seeing blackhawk pants on ebay... unfortunately they were at the 80$ price range. When i found this site I was slightly skeptical.. WELL not anymore. These pants are unbelievably comfortable.. the fit is absolutely perfect and the pants form itself is all around amazing. A must buy for any reason. Thank you LA police Gear!!

Overall decently constructed pants, but the material is too casual for office wear, and too thin/fragile for range wear. A rare miss from Blackhawk.

Bought a pair of these for use "around town" and for light walking/hiking. They are extrememly comfortable with the gussted crotch and articulated knees. The magnet pocket enclosures work well for everyday use, but don't think that I would trust them for true tactical use. Can't go wrong, especially at this price.

    September 14, 2012

These pants are odd, and definitely not the standard quality of Blackhawk Warrior Wear. They are sewn funny at the knees and just above. It feels like they were originally supposed to be be shorts, and they added the lower section on later. The rear pockets are set more towards the center. If you carry a billfold in your pocket it rides more towards the center. The material is kind of like double knit so they build up static. If you are looking for good tactical office pants these are for you. I would not buy these again regardless of price for my personal application.

    July 20, 2012

These pants are really comfortable. I usually wear a 33x30. These I got in a 32x30. They still fit ok. The elastic on the waist make it really nice. The fabric is light. The pockets are meshed lined. The zippers zip smoothly. I like the magnet pocket flaps. Overall great pair of pants for the sale price. I have the clay color too. Thanks for the sale.
Question: Does 32x34 mean, 32 in length and 34 in waist? Or the reverse?
Answer: The sizing for these pants is the opposite of what you stated. The first number measures the waist size and the second measures the length.

Question: do these pants contain optional knee pads
Answer: These pants do not have pouches for knee pads.

Question: Do they run tight or loose? Is the listed size accurate or should I order 1 size large or 1 size smaller?
Answer: We haven't heard any reports of these pants fitting too big or too small, we have only heard that these pants fit true to size.

    Question: what color is clay?
Answer: The Clay color is the tan looking color picture on this page.

Question: Is the clay color equivalent to khaki?
Answer: The Clay color of these pants is the color shown in one of the pictures. It is like a khaki color mixed with a grey color.

Question: Where are these made / are these made in the USA?
Answer: These Blackhawk Pants are not made in the US. They are in fact made in Indonesia.

Question: What is the rise of these pants please?
Answer: The rise of these pants in the front is approximately 10".

    Question: Zipper or button fly?
Answer: These Blackhawk Pants have a zipper fly.
