Blackhawk Light Weight Tactical Pants

These pants are great. Comfortable, durable and highly functional. The quality is top shelf.

I wear these for casual and concealed carry. The fit is accurate, I wear 34/34 in most casual type pants and these match that. Chocolate brown color is deep and looks quality; I haven't washed them yet, but they don't look like they are fade-prone. They are good for IWB concealed carry due to the tough elastic waistband, which still fits well without carrying. Athletic fit, not really baggy or saggy in the butt like some tac pants. Pulls up just a little in the crotch when driving and carrying, but not too much.

Great tactical pants! Very lightweight and comfortable. Wore these during a week long rifle instructor class and they held up fine. The smaller pockets on the left and right side fit a Pmag or GI 30rnd magazine perfect. Water literally beads right off of these pants. The guys at the class were impressed when I showed them by dumping a bottle of water directly on it as it bead right off and stayed dry. I'd buy again.

I've now bought two pairs of these pants. I've tried others at lower prices, but these are by far the best pants I've tried. They fit well, they hold up, and they're extremely useful.

Best pants I've ever owned. Tactical or day-to-day. Better than 5.11's and every other "tactical" knockoff. Better than any uniform I ever wore. Durable but not so much as to be like wearing tarp cloth. Follow precisely care instructions & the pants come out of the dryer like new with creases where there should be creases and flat folds elsewhere. Pockets and such are precisely where they should be. Only thing I would do is add two additional belt loops, one on each side, to front of pants. But that is not essential. These are great pants. Better than anything else out there. Worth the few extra dollars. And LAPoliceGear.com service was five stars too. I'll buy from them again.

Only pants I wear! Even to Church! You can never have too many pockets!

I use both 511 and BHI.What I like the best is that this
pants has zippered pockets.(511 tactical pants does not)
As someone has already mentioned,the size of cargo pocket
is no good.There are pros and cons about elastic bands inside cargo pockets.Sometimes it is useful.
Above all I prefer this to 511 tactical pants.

100% nylon = hot weather pant and a slightly uncomfortable feel. Great fit and I'm 6'5".

These are by far the best tactical pants on the market. Very well thought out and well designed. The quality is outstanding. They fit true to size and are very comfortable yet durable.I own these pants in 3 different colors and have even bought the shorts. I highly recommend these pants.

These pants are awesome! Best tactical pants out there. There' more pockets than I can even use. I know these pants will last. The material is tough and is highly water resistant. The only downside is that the pants are a bit baggy for a skinny guy like me (not a huge issue); and the pants don't breathe very well. So I wouldn't want to wear them on a really hot summer day. But I plan on wearing these pants on every hunting/camping/hiking outing I go on. Thanks Blackhawk!

I have had these pants for approximately One year as police duty wear.

Positives:
1)very durable. I have been through fights, pursuits, fence climbing, etc, and not a single tear, snag, etc. very tough pants.
2) very stain resistant, and water repellent for light rain, spills, etc.

Negatives:
1) a lighter Navy blue then the other brands. They dont really match my navy shirts. The proppers and 5.11s I have are darker and match better.
2) not very confortable. They are very stiff for being light weight; probably why they are so durable.
3) They fade VERY rapidly; started looking gray within a couple months despite washing inside out, cold water, etc.
4) very small, un-usable cargo pockets. I used to carry my smith J frame revolve in a cargo pocket, but cannot now to to the size. These pockets are so small by gloves barely fit in them.

All in all, these pants have some positives, but the positives out weigh the negatives. I will not buy these again unless on clearance or ordered to.

I like the material the pants are made of. The cargo pockets are small and it's impossible to carry extra flashlights. The only place I can put dog toy is front zip pocket but then I can only fit a glove in cargo pocket. On other side when I put personal er kit in front zip pocket, I can only carry my other glove. Back pockets are nice and deep and pants fit good, room for layering. The other downside, no drawstring at cuffs. As a training or off duty pant, these are nice. As a k9 duty pant, cargo pockets are too small and no drawstring at cuffs. Just so you know equip I carry is, small kong, pair of gloves, er kit, and stinger flashlight. Sometimes extra gloves and bottle of water if on a track. At this time I would not buy another pair.
