    My EDC Holster
    April 28, 2016
This has been my every day carry holster for my Springfield XDM 3.8 9mm for 2 years and I love it. No wonder nearly every LE agency in the area is transitioning to these. However, this holster is no good for concealed carry unless you wear a coat ( like a heavy winter coat ) due to it being offset from the body by over half an inch. But I live in NC where open carry is not only legal but encouraged ( I find it most comfortable to OC anyways ). For a concealable holster I recommend an RDR holster especially if you have a larger gripped handgun like mine (mine holds 20 rounds of 9mm). But for duty or open carry, you won't find a better holster than the Serpa unless you want to spring $80-$150 for a Safariland ALS.
    Pros:
Adjustable cant (straight, 10 & 15 degree) Includes paddle and belt attachment Paddle fits 1.25, 1.50 & 1.75" belts perfectly ( I use the paddle ) Made of thick, durable .080 Kydex Easy, swift draw Does not damage weapon finish Weapon audibly clicks into place, insuring the weapon is secure Inexpensive Looks good Comfortable Lightweight
    Cons:
Not concealable without wearing large garment such as a winter coat unless you don't mind heavily printing.

    Bought for Berretta Storm
    April 13, 2016
I have one of these holsters for my Springfield XD9 and like it so purchased one for my new firearm. I do not normally use as a carry holster, but primarily for use on the range as an instructor.
    Pros:
Keeps the gun secure Covers the trigger Insures that you learn the correct index finger location on draw. The finger should be straight. If it is, the latch is engaged perfectly. Nice to have paddle and belt attachments. Can adjust the cant of the gun.
    Cons:
Sticks out a little bit far from the body (which is why I do not use as a concealed carry holster.

Durable and easy and quick deployment of your firearm.

    Blackhawk CQC Serpa Holster
    February 12, 2016
I highly recommend this product. I bought for my Glock 20 (10mm). It fits perfectly. The belt loop platform fits my duty belt as well as well as my regular pants belt. I'm not sure what to think of the paddle platform but I'm sure it because I've never used one before.

    Great holster
    February 12, 2016
For the price, I dont' think you can get a better holster for your weapon. I've worn it with both the paddle and the belt loop and it is extremely comfortable with either. Gun is very secure and the release mechanism works great. I would highly recommend this product.
    Pros:
Comfort Choice of paddle or belt Fits gun perfectly Great value

Fits the XDs Like a glove. When mounted on a MOLLE Platform you can still get a full grip around the pistol as you draw.

    Excellent holster
    January 15, 2016
This holsters fits my XDM40 3.8 Compact well. The barrel sits just over half inch inside the end of the holster. The fit is snug and will not come free without depressing the finger lock.
    Pros:
Holds pistol well Two mounting platforms Great reputation
    Cons:
Belt clip looks like one of the loop slots has a seam. Could be weak point.

I have a Springfield XD-M 9mm 3.8 , will my gun fit in the regular XD holster sub compact?
    on March 9, 2013

    Answer:
We have seen multiple forum posts stating that an XDm will fit in the XD holster but it will have extra room and be able to wiggle in the holster. Those who noted the wiggle said all you need to do is add a strip of velcro or tape to the interior of the holster to remove the wiggle room. With this being said, we cannot guarantee this will work since we have not tried it ourselves.

Do you make this one for glock 35
    on March 24, 2013

    Answer:
If you choose the option for a Glock 17/22/31, it will fit a Glock 34 and 35. The tip of the barrel will stick out from the end of the holster about an inch, but the locking mechanism will still work as designed.

have a Springfield XDM 45, is the xd serpa compatible?
    on February 4, 2013

    Answer:
Blackhawk's site does not state whether or not this holster will fit a XDM, but we have seen multiple reviews on this holster that state that it will fit a .45 XDM. We cannot guarantee this statement though.

I have a Beretta 92. Will the barrel stick out the end of the holster?
    on April 29, 2013

    Answer:
The barrel of a Beretta 92 will not stick out past the holster. If you look at the pictures on the product page, there are two pictures of Berettas in the Serpa Holsters.

Yes, this Blackhawk Serpa Holster comes with both the belt loop attachment and the paddle. You can switch the two attachments out whenever you would like.

Will it still work with the Crimson Trace LaserGrips? (on a G19)
    on February 5, 2013

We have seen some people use the CQC Serpa Holster with Crimson Trace Laser Grips, but the people that are using that set up reported having to trim a little bit of the holster to let the laser have enough room.

    will the cqc serpa listed for the S7W m&p 40 fit the M & P compact 40
    on November 21, 2012

    Answer:
The Serpa holster for the M&P 9/40 will also accommodate the compact version. There will be a little bit of empty space at the bottom of the holster, but the Serpa locking system will still engage your weapon as designed.
