Ordered these pants for work as I had run my old BDU trousers ragged. Taking these out of the packaging, everything seems fine until you put them on and realize that the button attachments SUCK. They are so poorly secured to the pants that I would sooner use Velcro to keep my pockets and fly closed! The price may be good for these pants considering they are otherwise woven together neatly (proper reinforced stitching, nothing out of order) but consider the time you will spend reattaching every single button with needle and thread- it might not be worth your time in the end. With this one glaring exception aside, the Chinamen who assembled these things did a knock-up job. I have every reason to believe that the rest of the pants' construction is just as durable as the real USGI BDU trousers.

good quality but not correct size
    July 2, 2015
Nice bdu pants for the price but not true size. Im a medium short (33 waist) but these pants are bigger than that. My duty bdu pants from the "5" company are medium short and fit perfectly. The waist on these are about 2 sizes too big. Cargo thigh pockets would be better with velcro rather than button and zipper would be better if they werent button up too. Sorry for the negative review but its an accurate one.

    Great for the price
    June 26, 2015
I got these because I wore them In my last job, and needed something more suitable to working out on the blacktop in summer than cotton khakis, but was still office-appropriate. I took a chance on these because if I messed them up I was only out a few bucks. These are, as described, patterned exactly after mil-spec BDUs. Pocket material is the exact same ripstop blend. I got these in both "flat dark earth" and tan. The FDE is only slightly darker than the tan. The FDE seems slightly baggier, but better made. The buttons on FDE are sewn on solid, but the tan ones look like they'd unravel easily. A drop of super glue on the button stitching solves that problem. If you work in a manufacturing facility with mutilation-free standards that prohibit cargo pockets, they can be removed carefully with a seam ripper, along with the draw strings at the bottom hem to pass for work wear, but will still show a little at the corners where the bar tack stitching was. So far no one has realized these aren't dickies till I tell them where I got them from. If you are modifying these to pass for khakis, the "tan" works best because the stitch marks from the removed cargo pockets fade better on the lighter material. You can remove the back pocket buttons and tuck the flaps in for a more subtle look. Like all ristop blends, these make the "zip, zip, zip" sound when walking when they are brand new. Wash them a couple times on heavy duty cycle and put them in the dryer for a few hours to reduce the sound. Iron a crease in them, and you got something that'll pass for work clothes without retaining moisture like 100% cotton and won't break the bank. Pro tip: if it's really hot out, but only button every other button on the fly to get more ventilation where you need it without being indecent.
    Pros:
Breatheable, dries quickly, durable, great price, creases well.
    Cons:
Styling isn't appropriate for every situation, screams "hey look at me I'm tactical" as sold. Buttons have questionable stitching on tan.

    Inseam alittle long
    June 20, 2015
Hi just picked a couple of pairs of these bdu's. Just a couple of things to mention, the pockets could be alittle deeper because if your in an inclined position stuff may fall out of them and the inseam seems to be longer than some other manufacturers. Time will tell how well the overall construction is.

    Needle and thread specials
    June 18, 2015
I thought theses pants were going to be great. The sizing was good... The color alright... However, i pit them on, and my feelings went downhill from there. First off... When i buttoned them... The buttons were all loose, for about two minutes. Then they fell off. During that two minutes, i tried to adjust the waist by pulling on the adjusters in back.... And they too, fell off... Completly, and utterly, OFF! I was going to call customer service, because they have always been great, to me, anyways... But, for the money, i said the heck with it, and began sewing. Having been in the military, this is an art. Unfortunately, these pants look great, but will have to wear them around the house, as "sewing needle specials"... as I call them... Wouldn't work out well at work, or the range (for practice even). I suggest paying the extra for either the Operator Tactical Pant (which, by the way, were far tighter than expected, but extremely nice pants...), or 5.11 tactical product.
    Pros:
Color, sizing, and ties at the bottom of each leg
    Cons:
Sewing. Buttons. Pull adjusters for waist

i purchased (3) pairs of these pants and they arrived and are too small. I have other BDU's that are the same size but fit so it came as a surprise. Is this product returnable or exchangable for a larger size?

Depending on when you purchased the items, they are returnable/exchangeable. If you go to our home page and click on the Customer Service Tab you will find our Return Policy and that will let you know what you can do.
