5.11 Tactical TDU Rip-Stop Pants - CLOSEOUT

The 5.11 Tactical Duty Uniform Ripstop Pant is the new standard and replacement of the old style BDU. Designed with today’s law enforcement or security force in mind, this pant has all the features officers want and need. Over a year of product development went into the design of this pant using input from police officers, special operations operators, and military personnel. The result is a new industry standard in BDU style pants.

Functionality Made of tough, polyester/cotton Ripstop, the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Pant stands up to the rigors of patrol and special operations. Known for superior comfort, functionality and fit, the pant features a self-adjusting comfort waistband that helps you bend and stretch with ease. For best results, pair the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Pant with the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt in short or long sleeve.

Storage The front pockets of our TDU Pants are strong and roomy; the large side pockets are designed with an added inside pocket containing a divider allowing each side to hold two AR mags securely. Each pocket is lined with the Back-Up Belt System™ loop-sided carrier which allows the attachment of Back-Up Belt System™ pouches. Two rear pockets round out the storage needs of almost any duty assignment.

Durability The 5.11 TDU Ripstop Pant utilizes 65%polyester/35% cotton ripstop material which resist tearing and abrasion. The pant is triple-stitched and bartacked in all stress areas. Included are neoprene kneepads located in the double layered knee pocket. The kneepads can be removed for washing or left out of the pockets for less rigorous activities.

Hardware We use only genuine, locking-flange YKK® zippers and quality PRYM® snaps which stay zipped and snapped even under the most strenuous activities. The neoprene kneepads, located in the double layered knee pockets of our TDU Pants are great for “on-the-ground” activities on the range or in the field.

Incredible comfort, fit and value
"Make no mistake, these pants were disigned and manufactured for rough performance. However, they are surprisingly reasonable in price given the materials and features. Like others, I wear them at home or hiking because they are so comfortable. It is not an overstatement to say that when wearing these pants, it is like wearing a layer of armor. An operator need not worry about tearing the during rough duty. Two points: first, use the size chart to get your correct size the first time. The size chart is spot on. Also, this is heavy duty clothing - so in hot weather, there is no getting around the fact that you will be hot. The good news is the flip side - really keep you warm and dry."
